Post your fastest clean lap times and T times as well if you can manage.

Arcade BMW M3, max power, min weight S3 tyres (sport soft).
all aids set to 0 (shouldnt need them at all)

OLR rules apply

No cheating
2 tyres on track/rumble strip/cement at all time
No hybrids or Max codes etc
No wallbanging / wall riding
Also post your controller type

This combo isnt really fast, but its not slow, its very entertaining and a great way to start hotlapping/learning the ring.

Just ran two laps ( out of time ) and got a 7'21.922 on the second. Pretty nice combo more grip and power than I was expecting ( although it was quick modded ). The one thing I didn't like was the standard suspension setting, it's too soft and on the final part of the circuit where there are a few high speed turns it is really difficult to control it. If anyone beats this I'll run a few more hehe

yes its a very nice combo, not too challengeing and its quite forgiving, but when pushed hard its very fast.

7'29.976, ,and it took a few laps to get it. I had to stop though, got tired. Went like this: 7'44 > 7'35 > 7'33 > 7'29.976

This is with all aids set to 0 using a DFP.
I have a suggestion that the controller, DS or DFP be noted. There really is a lot of difference. Thanks, and have fun. I really like these spot comparisons with near normal cars. Anyone want to do the focus?

ok did a few more laps today and managed a 1'20.166 no tcs, no asm and using the3 DS2

EDIT: I meant a 7'20.166 obviously... thx for spotting it.

The 7'29.xxx was clean, I have to watch the replay as sometimes I slide off and I can't remember when on such a long lap. Evidence of a not clean lap is something like my 7'44. Whenever I go off the track it just slows me down anyway. The hardest part of the track for me is the sections after the caroussel. There is this right hander that is banked the wrong way, which throws me into the grass to the left, it leads down to a downhill 3rd gear left hander. I'm getting ok at that one though, There are a few others where I get off line and have to brake too much. That M3 handles really nice though.

Gave this a decent go tonight. Nice combo. After tuning in the Arcade mode I'm getting 406 bhp and 1413 KG with the SS tyres. Everyone else the same?

I would be interested to see where I'm losing time - I'm guessing it's towards the end of the lap as I'm not so familiar with that part yet. Anyone else care to post their T times?

BTW, how amazing is the Nürburgring Nordschleife? 👍

Yes this is a brilliant combo, the ring is such a wonderful track, best fun ive ever had in a racing game 👍.

BTW Racybacy what controller were you using?

hahaha, 8:18.099, came off 7 times, spun once. first time i've ever done a complete lap of the 'ring. at least i have room for improvement

using ds2. i actually really like this spot race, i'm going to keep trying every day

ok then, if its so arcade im sure you would be able to beat our times easily.

Have you even tried?? a clean fast lap of the ring isnt NFSU style.

Ive played NFSU and can run 39's at Olympic square, and this challenge is defently not NFSU style.

You have the option to increase/decrease your power in 20% and your weight in 10% in the quicksetup menu. You can also change the gearing in some cars. ( in Arcade Mode )

lol, i just ran a few laps and I was going as fast as the thing would go and i was running like 7'55.xx. I looked at the time heres and saw 7'20 and such and was like am i on the right track??? then i realized i hadnt done any of the quick tune lol hopefully ill be more on the pace now.

I can only get 7.23.565. I am getting pissed as hell. I'm nowhere near 7.20.xxx, and 10 seconds slower than 1.12.xxx. it doesn't even seem possible. also, how can I watch rudi's replay?

Thats a phenominal time rudi, but i can match it. I just did a 7'13.533 with the ds2 and will probably beat your time in the not to distant future.

I can also do a 6'53.653 in the s-16 test and will probably go faster than that also. c u later.

I've been working on this a bit when I can squeeze in some runs. I've got a clean 7'20.077 as of now. It's so frikkin' hard to string all the turns together at your limit. Mess up a little bit on a 2 or 3 turn section and you can kiss a whole second or more goodbye. :guilty:
