GT4 Weekly Race Series Qualification Race​



Welcome to the WRS.
The following information should follow the menus of GT4 so that there are few questions regarding how to do this race, if there are any questions feel free to ask them.

Arcade Mode: Time Trial

World Curcuits:


Infineon Raceway - Sports Car Course​



Car:


BMW M3 '04​




Driving Options: Driver's Choice, Anything Goes!
Tranny:
Driving Aids:
Tires:

Quick Tune-up:


Full Tune: Any Settings: +20%hp & -10%kg​



Rules:


Do not discuss any times​


Clean OLR Standards
2 wheels on track at all times
Rumble Strips are part of the track
No wall riding
No wall touching
No short cutting
No hybrids
No Cheating of any kind
Save your best lap replay

Time Submission:
Send your final time to me using a Private Message.
You may request a copy of the times submitted for this race only after completing the qualification.

I know this is am open qualifier, no deadline...but what is the plan as far as getting up and racing. Is this get your time in to get a division ASAP type deal? Should we expect the first official GT4 WRS to start next week or the week after....etc?

I've been trying to tame this beastie on the Nurb (Small Fryz created the combo ) so at least I'm familiar with the car.

The darker of the two silvers. Not sure what it's called? I thought it'd be the least distracting colour for the ghost.
 
Sounds great! I love the car and Infineon is a great track. I promise I'll do this sometime, when I get bored with the GT mode :D
 
How can you verify your lap if you don't have a sharkport or any of that stuff? Just giving the T times?

That works. If your lap time is unbelieveable, they may ask you to verify SOMEHOW. That shouldn't come up if you don't cheat. ;)

Oh, And wonderful car. Perfectly balanced. I'm not to fond of the track, though, but I've whittled my time down to be somewhat respectable...

You could also buy a 5 dollar madkatz memory card and send that to Kent or the closest reptuable WRS member thats near you.



I'll give this a shot later today, sounds like a fun qualifyer.

Well I already sent in my time.

I could take a picture of the time on my screen. I mean how could you cheat there?
 
Can we talk T times? Or can you give us approximatives T Times for each division?

In the GT3 qualification race Mr P posted his T times that gave us something to aim for.
 
Ive got my time down to somthing half decent, but im gonna keep running it, As far as i know WRS race 1 isnt starting until next week.
 
That'll be my homework for tomorrow ;)
BTW, is there any chance that results of week 105 are posted ?

I think I did about 100 laps or so before I decided enough was enough and submitted my time. I am not all that disappointed with my lap, but I think it could have been a fraction faster. Oh well, Bring it on!
 
Even though I think I've done my best it feels like it's not sufficient to qualify with. It feels like i'll come in last place with a 10 second margain to the one after me.

Is it just me or do you feel it?
