1.04.9xx plausible at Midfield?

Is that time plausible with a WoodOne Supra in Arcade mode on Midfield, no quick tune ups, racing medium everywhere?

495 hp, 1100 kg.

I tried it myself, the best I can get is around 1.06.2xx and I get every apex right, max speed everywhere, come out of the rumble strip everywhere.

Yu must be doing somthing wrong becase I got that same car and my tie was 57.749 seconds try to not to hold the brake down so long maybe but it can definately get a better time at midfield

wow, thats a pretty large gap, hmm ill have a stab at it later im not an exceptional driver so it should be interesting

Dude, an ARCADE CAR, not a fully modded GT mode car!

With no quick tune up! Racing medium 495 hp, 1100kg period!
 
Div, maybe youre slow?

You have to nail the first corner to get the whole lap right, maybe youre not on fire?

Or maybe he added a tune up and played in GT mode...

It is possible that someone in the world may be quicker than you tho....

I know but by 9 sec? I'm a Division 1 racer, I might not be the fastest, but I ain't the slowest!

Dude just face it im faster than you i had no tune-ups an i was in arcade i will post my replay so then you can cry over that I hit every a pex just rite just think a second aint that long i meant just count to one and if your sliding in a turn just a bit you losing seconds even if you dont think you are so I will post my replay as soon as i can thank you and quit crying

I pulled a 1'06.523 on what felt like a good lap in the first sector. After that, I'm sure I came out slow on the downhill left and just clipped the wall coming out of the hairpin, scrubbing off some more speed. I feel there's probably a mid-1'05 somewhere in it, but I don't know about a 1'04.

Of course, I could just be slow.
 
we' all playing gt4 yea? not 3...(not sure if the woodone is on 3 though, and not sure if it would make much difference)? but I tried, im not a great driver, but i managed just under 1.07 and im sure i was driving pretty much as fast as i can go, i might be able to scrape a few tenths, but not whole seconds.. midfeild is quite a short track. to beat a divison 1 driver by 9 seconds is pretty hard to believe, then again i may just be a terrible driver... :grumpy:

do you guys use manual?
 
The 1.04.9xx is plausible but the 57.xxx lap isn't. You will never see the replay because at the beginning the HP listed will give it away. I ran a 1:06.293 after 4 laps and if I were to run this like a WRS race and run this a few hundred times, I'm sure that 1:04.9 would be in jeopardy.
 
I think just like you GT3mich, I did 4 laps and got 1.06.xxx too, that dude was SO on another planet with his 57.xxx, in another galaxy mojo!
 
i havnt actually driven midfield since i got GT4 :boggled:

il have a go later, im only div 3 but what the heck :lol:
 
I just ran a 1'07.258...and I thought it was a pretty good lap for me...then again, if I ran it in slicks (Soft Tires) or even super slicks (RSS) that I could shave some more time off of that...

It's too bad you're no longer able to take that one chicane/S-section coming up the hill at full speed as in GT3...that would make it a bit easier to lower anyones times.. :)

i got 1'06.985 in automatic which i thought was nice, especially cos like gt fan2005 i havnt actually raced on midfield yet because i dont like the way they make u slow down on that second set of corners (sorta ruins the flow) but i gave it a bash in 4 laps with that result so anythings possible i spose

You are the nearest, it looks like it's plausible, but it's hard!
 
A friend of mine told me he did that time, it was his first try on the game, and I can't manage less than 1.05.xxx and I have more than 10 000 kilometers on the game!
 
Doing 1:04 is possible, but is not that easy. You must take all the apex, and at a good speed, especially the first corner, cause it's the key for T1.

But hey Div, it's not my first time at the track. I have GT1, 2 and 3. Sure, I had to learn how to handle the car (with new physics) but I knew pretty much the track (except for the first Esses).
