hey guys i wrote to ask to all of the forum menbers about the riding gear in this game i mean brands,of helmets, suits,gloves,boots etc etc this because i got the game going with 11% of completion and i see when i win a race the computer gives me a amount of clothes boots gloves and helmets so far is have been that way so thats for i ask this particular question

i meaN I KNOW about the brands but i dont see how many items of gear are in the game to colectalso if it is posible to all the forum menbers to tell wich is your favorite gear and also post pics of it


i hope the forum menbers help me to answer this topic and of course giving thanks to all the people who have and post answer to this topic bye
 
iam also interested in the riding gear....

ive got about 57.8% game completion and a total of 138 riding gear items....

ive got some pretty bada$$ helmets and suits....i never kept track of what events i obtained them tho......i do know that completing a GOLD test liscense(s) you can also obtain quite a few items......


it'd be cool to do a archive of all the riding gear....pretty neat addy to the game...

So is the gear associated with a specific race, like the prize bikes, or does it just award out as you win, i.e. the first race gets items such-and-such, the second gets these items, etc.? Haven't seen this question, and all the lists are just lists, not an association.
 
I'm almost certain it's awarded based on the race as it's usually associated with the race you just ran. I know for sure the Rossi suit and 1 helmet come from getting all silver licenses.

The best way to check this theory is to start the game fresh - run some race series note what's given, then come back start again with a different series and see what's given.
 
At 60+% and no spare memory card I wasn't gonna do that yet. Maybe after I'm done the first time. My question was basically if anybody already knew this, the experiment would then be redundant. :)

I am at work now so I can't check, but I know for a fact I finished the Clubman Cup. I have finished most of the easier race series. Anyone else know where I can get "Bones"?

The challenge mode is to win bikes only. The Venson Leathers BONE (black) top (along with 13 other pieces) are won by completing the Expert License with all silver medals.

Yep, this is what I unlocked for all gold in the S licence. As it was back in Feb, I don't remember the others off the top of my head.

Yeap, though my records are based on the NTSC–J version, so regarding the extra and removed gear Samberto mentioned, I’m not sure what’s been swapped around where with the SCEA release.

About time I posted the complete NTSC–J prize list…

I got the Vanson Bones in my Expert silver package

In the General info and discussion thread one member pointed out he was awarded a helmet for N-license all gold, which I do not have, and running all gold N was the first thing I did in the game. This seems to imply that gear is awarded from a list (maybe in order, maybe randomly), not by event.
 
thanks ... just have to finish the TT world series (which shouldnt take too long since i mistakenly entered with a yoshi gsxr 8 hour bike since i didnt expect 100hp naked bikes :? )
 
IIRC the ku****ani straight pants are black leather. Here they are IRL
