Welcome to the Tsukuba Speedmonster challange. Im hosting this comp to compare how the skillz in tuning here at Gtplanet.net is, and how far you guys can push your driving skillz.
I must say im happy this thread is gaining interest again. and i have some big plans for this Tsukuba Time trial race. Just let me finish school in July so i can have enough time to host this. in the mean time you can still post your attacks (times) here. I will try to update the leaderboard once in the Month.

Ok im making another Class, because people are confusing things. Tuner cars are not allowed, or were not. but im Making a new class. Called Tuner Monster. see the Class section for more details.

Modifications allowed: Engine: No, Tires: Sport, Wheight:Stock, Trans: Stock, Nos: No

Super Stock Pro
Modifications allowed: Engine: No, Tires: Racing, Wheight:Stock, Trans: Full, Nos: No

Turbo Monster Street
Modifications allowed: Engine: Turbo (stg2), Tires: Sport, Wheight:Stock, Trans: Stock, Nos: No

Turbo Monster Pro
Modifications allowed: Engine: Turbo (all), Tires: Sport, Wheight:Stock, Trans: Full, Nos: Yes

Fast NA Street
Modifications allowed: Engine: NA (stg2), Tires: Sport, Wheight:Stock, Trans: Stock, Nos: No

Fast NA Pro
Modifications allowed: Engine: NA (all), Tires: Sport, Wheight:Stock, Trans: Full, Nos: Yes

newTuner Monster
Modifications allowed: Engine: No, Tires: all, Wheight:Stock, Trans: Stock, Nos: No

Ultimate Speed Monster
Modifications allowed: Engine: All, Tires: Race, Wheight: stage 3, Trans: All, Nos: Yes


Those are the basic Rules and Restrictions.
IN ALL CLASSES IS THE USE OF DRIVING AIDS IS UP TO YOU.
For NOW the use of other modifications, such as exhaust and clutches etc. are restricted in the Street classes. So its prohibited to use any of those modifications. For the Pro classes are they allowed.
The use of WINGS is free in all classes.

When you are posting your times make sure you make it clear in what Class your running.

Well there will be diferent class like ff, fr,mr and 4x4 but i will let things get more interesting.

even though i dont have a way to put up a preview ive been messing around with a ford GT and a few cars as tsukuba speed demons can i post lap times and sector times?

I managed 55.03 seconds around Tsukuba in this. N/A tuned to 270bhp, on Racing, um, super softs? R4s I think. One harder than racing qualifiers.

Gearing was set to allow the car's maximum speed at Test Curse and downforce was set 0 front and 5 rear to combat high speed oversteer. With more downforce and some work on the gearing it will easily go below 55 secs.

The car was built for the Speedster challenge and features most tuning mods. Picture was taken during one of my less successful Tsukuba laps....

To GT40 mkII: Yeah do it like Alfaholic did.
That is what kinda want.
and yes you can post the sector times. but be sure to post your best lap.
And if you feel that you can post your car setup, be my guest.

I will be doing some changes in the future. But let just go build some fast cars and post some times.

Alfaholic that car realy look mean. good job and try to go faster.

I love building Tsukuba time attac cars. Lancers and WRX's are great fun to attempt a sub 50 second time, I've played around with a few other cars, might give it another go when I'm over this current Nurb fetish.

can you only use normal cars , cause i'm pretty sure i got to 50 sec in a Renault 5 Maxi Turbo and in a Mercedes Clk Dtm , both on the racing slicks?

To Lasthours:Now that sound interesting. because i got one that run the tsukuba in 49.9 sec. I will be looking forward on that.

To Gt40 MKII: now thats bad luck man.

To Turbobilly:No.for now I will like to see some normal cars only. I can tell you right now that those cars qualified. Check that out in your Garage.

Those are some unbeliviblely quick times. Try using S3's instead, gives it a more realistic feel to cars.... In real life the record is somwere around 55.5

I will work this out this week but im still thinking on how to run this comp. If you has some ideas just pm me.

I feel stupid. I am stupid. I can't find the rules in that link... at all. I did find rule ammendments. 750+$$$ shocks are not allowed. I cant buy suspension for less than 3500$ in GT though. and that includes springs, and camber kits, the latter of which is also not allowed.

Love racing on Tskuba, ill have to get some times in!

Found this time however;

Love low powered light cars!

Definatly ran some low 50's/high 40's.. time to get my finger out!

Love this thread. The plate forum I'm using is a v type S2000. Ima start workin on it as soon as I get home and ill send in my results as soon as I'm done. One question, I know there's gonna be different class such as FF,FR and AWD but is there gonna be different class of tires we us???

Soo far, my R32 GTR runs a 54.8sec, on Sports soft, no aids, and 56.4 on roads.
I've also managed to get the Mines GTR to run 55secs Flat, no aids, Soft Sports, and also ran the Power House Amuse S2000 R1, in 59secs flat as well, the Amuse R1 Skyline GTR, 56.8secs No, aids again, and Soft sports.
Lastly trying to get my S2000 Type-V to run 59 on 320Hp, stock weight., soft tyres again. Too bad got no Video Capture Memory stick!

HKS_T51KAI. Thanks for your entry. But i want you to use normal cars only not tuners cars. I want you to build your own tuner car. So get busy.

driftking1212. Hope to get your times soon. Because Im tuning a v type s2000 too.
And Yes there will be for each class. a Tire catagory. Such as FR Street and FR Race. so you can choose between 8 classes.

Well, after reading this thread last night after work I decided to make a Tsukuba monster for myself. I took a 04 S2K and fully tuned it with a "Spoon" Origonal Turbo and Supersofts. It ran 52.XX last night off the bottle then 49.799 with the spray (both times w/o aids). Im still not half done the suspension and downforce/LSD settings. Ill repost some better times after I'm done tuning later tonight. It feels wierd, its 6PM here and I havnt touched GT4 today because Initial D Street Stage came in the mail today for PSP
