F1GT Interest/Sign Up thread

Series Info
Will start as SOON AS THE SERIES FILLS!!!
I will put up a list of tracks by the end of the week.
Teams will be based off real F1 teams. Races will be run at a 1 per 7 days schedule.
GT mode races
Races will last between 10-20min.
Qualifying and a Race will make up each race on the schedule.
Teams will consist of two members
There will be a drivers and constructors championship.
If you will be away for some of the races just pm me your times before.
To Sign Up just post which team you wish to join!!!

Rules
We will use the Formula Gran Turismo Cars.
Any tuning may be done
We will use standing starts come to a COMPLETE STOP just before start/finsih then when you are ready you will hit the throttle and begin you race.
Top 3 places in each race will recive rewards wieght: (If you hit top rewards wieght and continue to dominate I will limit downforce ext.) if we do arcad i will limit wieght first then power)
1st- 35kg
2nd- 25kg
3rd- 15kg

Arcade rewads(if it wins) wieght first then power(obviously power will be reversed as high finishers will lose power and low ones will gain it)
1st-3%
2nd 2%
3rd-1%
16th- -1%
17th- -2%
18th- -3%

yea but i tested laps there yeserday and can do a lap in under a minute midfield takes about 50 seconds a lap

and El capitan sounds spanish so i made it the mexican GP

I'd be interested in this series, any chance we can change it to arcade mode and leave the car at default specs? I'd really be willing to race it then as I'm not a fan of gt mode all that much :indiff:

But everything else looks great about 15 laps per race or so, that goes quick in this car for sure! 👍 I'd like to be on Toyota.

i probably won't join for this tourney due to planning issues but i would suggest to the racefan - born on the first of may 1988 which would make him 18 so he should know his grammar - that he reads his posts and checks on spelling before he hits the submit button

Sounds fair to me. I just flat out know little about settings, but everything else looks great so I just need to quit being so picky I wager....lol.

EDIT: Can we ban the use of NOS?

you cant add any mods to the F1 car to my knowledge so it shoud be no nos and stuff the only thing you shoud be able ot adjust is setup

I voted Arcade, I think it would be more fun because although you cant set up your car, Arcade Mode gives the option of having tyre and pit strategies for the races which would make the races alot more fun.

I agree with east, Arcade mode makes things more equal as well. GT mode races for things like this take a LOT out of the equation by giving you unlimited tires. it doesn't show driver skill and tire management. I'd honestly try harder if I was racing Arcade as well.

I cant agree more with u guys /\ Being in arcade mode you can still have tire wear and customizable AI and its a much more level playing field IMO, I know I would have LOTS more fun in arcade mode. C'Mon guys we need a few more arcade votes!

Well, I voted Arcade too. 👍 You can still implement a penalty/reward system too, and it makes the whole thing more simple.

Can I take the last Toyota spot then, or a Toro Rosso?
