Just curious as to how we would race in Sim Mode....by going to each set of tracks (city courses, original etc...)??? And in there, can we set up the lap amount and penalties? Its been a while since I have done anything sim mode, especially since everything is laid out much more smoothly in ARCADE MODE with choosing our laps, penalties and tracks and a LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.....***HINT HINT (to moderator)*...er....*cou-Arcade Mode- gh*......

Yeah, but its also harder to setup a series such as this one, where the drivers have to go into each track category and set the laps and such everytime the ps2 gets loaded, versus saving the lap count and penalties once for the whole week and actually just adjusting the laps once a week, plus then the moderator can set the AI levels accordingly (or leave them open) I do agree that there is skill involved in tuning a car so don't get me wrong I really respect the guys around here who really know cars (as I know next to nothing about cars except how to ride my personal limit). But after racing in the WRS since week 7 and running a series in Sim Mode I've come to realize that arcade mode is pretty easy to race how you want and where, and also makes the moderator's job easier too
. But I am definitely not gonna moap around if we have to do Sim Mode, I think its fair to do a vote. And maybe I'm being picky but everyone has a preference, eh? lolz. Whatever gets voted gets voted

ok if ya'll think about it it should be done in GT mode....
think of the real F1 GP's...they spend weeks practicing and tuning thier cars to perfection. thats what we should do. Spend the entire week trying and qualifying until our cars are perfect. i believe that F1 isnt won on the drivers but on the tuning, practicing, and the pit strategy. in our case pit strategy wont matter cause we only have 1 set of tires, but tuning and practicing is most important

I agree whole heartedly. And when it comes down to it, when it's done in GT mode, there is no changing of the amount of laps, traffic won't be a factor, and you can practice all you want and tune to perfection, or just deal with the car the way it is and race to your hearts content. Either way, I think the better of the two is GT mode, and it puts a more realistic twist on it anyhow. If every race was done in F1 where all the cars were alike and set up alike, it would be too boring to stand.

due to some technical and sponsorship problems, Daddy-O was unable to announce that he has an exclusive contract with Skoda to provide powerplants to the Midland F1 team where he will be the team principle, lead driver, transporter driver, mechanic, and team chef/laundry technician. I will post a time for the Round 2 race.

I can't either but I have a save I got from online that does so I can race.

Any car you win or buy in GT Mode will be unlocked at the Arcade Mode garage. In this case, win the Nurburgring 24Hrs Endurance (Take any well-powered racecar if you want overkill and an easy win), and it will show up in the Arcade garage under Japan --> Polyphony Digital (1 Cars) --> Formula Gran Turismo (The FGT F1 racecar)
