Notes for the Time Trial. In order to run it you should do the following

1. Go to the community section and go to the DTC Club
2. Go to the events and click on the current Time Trial
3. Create a room from the Time Trial event. This will create a room with all the correct settings and restrictions
4. Once in the room start the Race (Time Trial). This will give you 20 minutes to set your time
5. Once the event is done save your replay and go to the standings. From there you should be able to post the results to the club (I will confirm this today).

Have fun.
Trying this now.

Best lap - 2:46.324

Should have been able to hit high 2:45s but I couldn't get the perfect lap done in 20 mins.

I saved the replay and it posted my results for me in the club event. Not sure if replay needs to be saved or not.

Well I only managed a 2:50.813. I need to be playing more:) I know there is lots of time to pick up but that is the best I could do in 20 minutes.

DTC Time Trial
Week 1

Lotus Europa Special '72

Ascari Full Track

The car will of course be stock (PP - 411, HP - 132, Weight - 730kg) and will run on Comfort Medium tires. The event will run from Wednesday - Tuesday. I want to keep this short and sweet so would like people to accept the gentleman's agreement that they will only spend 20 minutes on the time trial with no practice. This combo was chosen by me of course and I have not run the combination.

Scoring sheet and OP have been updated!

Is anyone likely to be around on the Thur 11th for some practice/testing?

And who else is going to take part in the TT? Are you really going to let @88GTA win so easily;)

Thanks. I should be able to race next Thursday.

For next Tuesday's race at 1650pp I am going to create a few lineups which will make it easy for someone to just hop in and race last minute. I should have those posted on Monday.

This is my preliminary lineup:
FF - Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R '99 411pp
4WD - Audi S3 '02 413pp
FR - Chevy IROC-Z Concept '88
MR - Lotus Elise '11 395pp

4 cars from 4 different decades from 4 different countries = I win by default.

I'll do Tt this weekend, I was thinking maybe we can do a 1 off special like an mini endurance, I've been wanting to do a multi class endurance at Tsukuba so Lap traffic comes to play, of course we would need good attendance like 5 each class, but don't know how we would figure in dtc, maybe different drive train each class

I like the idea. Come up with an idea for the cars. It would be cool if all 4 drivetrains were on track (say MR and FR for one class and FF and 4WD for the other) but that is not imperative.

I have also been working on an idea for multi class racing a Tsukuba but it would be for our normal 20 minute races.

So on my way to scoring 2,000,000 on the Sierra Time Trial 4 I found out that you can score a jump bonus while flipping a car;)

Just a reminder to take 20 minutes to run this weeks Time Trial. There will be a prize at the end of the month for the DTC'er with the most points. While I can not promise Hat Cakes there will be a prize!

@jobyone
Will the winner of this DTC time trial event get to choose the next one?
Yes they will. No testing though.

The person with the fastest time at the end of the event will get to choose the next event (no testing). The only guidelines on choosing the next combo is that it be a different drivetrain and different class (based on PP). Tires will be 1 harder than the car comes with from the Dealership. the classes are:

Under 401PP (A)
401-450PP (B)
451-500PP (C)
501 and Up (D)

I went to the club DTC. Clicked on the club event and it said i have joined. But nothing happen. Not sure how to do it.
on the right you should see a rooms button. Click on that and create a room. This will create the room with all the settings. From there simply start the race/time trial. It will also automatically post your best lap time once the 20 minute event is complete.

Hey guys, if I were to want to join at some point, are there any slots open?
We have space! Are you hoping to take part tomorrow night? First thing to do is to join the club in the community section of GT6. The club id is 1005073

You may also want to send a friend request to koszak27 and Ice_Warden in case they have to create a friends room.

If you have any questions take a look at the OP and do not hesitate to ask questions in this thread. Everyone is really helpful...

...even Joe!

No, it might be a week or two, but it sounds like a lot of fun.
Yea we have fun. We race fast and clean but do not take ourselves to seriously. If you join the club quickly you can always run the Time Trial we have going:)
