Im hoping to see YOU, eheheheh

Looks like we might have the whole band back together on the grid Sunday night!
We could use another guitar player if you are interested Miguel!!!

No point given my current connection issues. I therefore am withdrawing from all online rooms/lobbies until further notice.

Sorry to hear this Tez! Still looking forward to being back on the track with you!

The internet in Canada is really bad because theres basically 2 suppliers only, both pretty bad and a lot of resistance to accept American companies operating here. Im a little lucky because i live in the middle of the most populated area in canada where apparently Rogers makes an effort to deliver a better service plus I pay a fortune for a high level signal, spent some noney for a decent router and i have my playstation wired but i have friends that live in barrie, 100 kms north of toronto and they're internet is a joke most of the times.

i just finished my time trial with the NSX and I'm very apreensive and not expecting a great race tomorrow because of the tire choice.
I didn't quite understand this choice as we're racing a race cars and race cars roll on race tires but, decision made, i respect it.
Now, the problem is that apparently this soft sport compound doesn't hold this car for long as what i noticed on the time trial is that you only have a 2 lap shot to get your time down because on the third lap you're already battling your car's tail end as grip is basically gone and depending on the driver, of course, we will be entering the pits every 5 laps or so.
Let's hope for the best whatever your best is.

During testing the NSX just would not wear the RH tires out fast enough to make it interesting. This car gets most of its grip from aero on this track anyways.

So we decided to bump it to SS and very fast wear. This will facilitate several pit strategies :)

So you did things in the opposite way! Very fast should go in the RH, not in the SS, Joey

With Tez and I sitting this week out everyone else has a spot. I hope you all have better luck with connection issues than last week.

Im sorry to leave like that but my wife started throwing up and at first i tried to keep going but then things got worse and i really had to go. I hope you guys had fun.

After tonight I feel like I should get a rabies shot. I'd recommend you guys get checked too. And god forbid you even consider pressing the brake if the steering wheel is more than one degree from center, or you may as well spend what little time you have left on this Earth saying goodbye to your loved ones and apologizing for getting involved in such a dangerous event.

I think when you set very fast tire wear, it's actually fiiting all the cars with ACME brand tires, perhaps made of the same material as Marvin the Martian's disintegrating pistol. And Sports Softs too, because otherwise it was too easy. ;)

I did have fun though, so I'm glad I showed. Can't wait for what comes next.

Great first season, glad to see a lot of new faces, there are couple things that need to be done for this series to grow and I know we're heading down the right path.

Disconnected both races. That blows.
I don't get dicso'ed very often, especially twice in one night, but I guess it is what it is.
Looking forward to see what's up next week.

Sounds like tonight had some Good some Bad and some Ugly! I would love to get the results figured out so if anyone can post the results of race 1 that would be great. I also need to know if anyone disconnected in either race so I can get their points recorded. Once I have the stats I will do a season wrap up post.

What a awesome night on the track with you all! Sorry for leaving early, I was burnt out! I skied over 20,000 feet of vert.
It was 65 degrees here yesterday and the snow is melting fast! I have only 3 more weeks before the mountain closes and can put more time into racing with all of you!
Thank you all for the great clean and respectful driving! You guys are the best!
Cheers, Alan:cheers:

Last night was by far my best night so far in this series. Sorry joe for turn 1 race 2. I had absolutely no practice in this car. I just bought both of them last night. Either way it was a great race. My experience in high powered race cars and slippery tires based off of aj's endurance series helped a lot and I'm in the delta wing but this car handled and drove about the same.
As for the other nights, production cars suspensions are so loose it's hard to get a feel for them. And the weight transfer throws me off.

Did you get the results yet Joby? I am slammed with work all day and can't get to it right now.

I am excited that we will be announcing the cars you guys will be voting on for next season. That will be fun! Once the cars are selected, we will then announce the tracks you will for vote on for each car. Then the Season 2 combos will be set ;)

Public service announcement:
Don't let these blank panels happen to you. Make sure you share your cars!!!!

The season kicked off with a bang with 10 racers taking to the field in race one and 9 for race two. When the dust settled the top 3 were separated by 1pt. @GGGMotorsport took the night and the season 1 lead.

Week two saw the night start with 9 in the first race and 8 in the second. By then end of the night @dylansan managed to earn the win with an incredibly hard fought night. But @GGGMotorsport just retained the Series lead.

After a trouble free two weeks the third week was full of issues. The first attempt to run was rained out. The rerun saw 10 people on track for each race. But mechanical failures cost our two leaders with both failing to finish either race. This allowed @Kgffy to shine with 2 wins for the night. The series lead fell to @kendawg with two consecutive solid weeks. He took the lead followed closely by @JoeW in second

Week 4 saw some new faces and we were missing a few familiar racers that had team issues that meant they did not make it to week 4. The grid started with 11 and ended with 8 for the final race. A close fought battle between @Zii1993 and @Kgffy ended with kg winning by way of the better qualifying time. Talk about close.

The Season 1 overall win goes to @kendawg who ran consistently strong throughout the season. Congrats!

I for one am looking forward to how Season 2 plays out!

This event will run with a combined PP of:
1700 (SH)
All cars PP must be between 404 and 446

Qualifying and the first race will take place at
Silverstone GP

If you would like to participate in the next event please post in this thread that you would like to take part. I will add your name to the list. You can also add your name and car lineup to the.

sign up sheet

Here is how it works.
Each events PP Limit is chosen by the Seasonal DTC Week 1 winner. This weeks PP limit can be found above.

You must choose 4 cars that the total combined PP value does not exceed the limit for the event. Each car can only be used in one race. Additionally you must use 1 of each of the following drivetrains in your lineup:

FF- Front Engined/Front Wheel Drive
4WD - 4 Wheel Drive (any engine position)
FR - Front Engined/Rear Wheel Drive
MR/RR - Mid Engine(or Rear Engined)/Rear Wheel Drive

When Calculating the PP total the value is for a un-tuned, non power limited car with an oil change. This is what is referred to as the Known PP* value for the car. The list of Known PP values can be found by clicking on the link above.

The Event
Qualifying and the first race take place at a track chosen by the Seasonal DTC Week 2 Winner. This weeks qualifying track can be found above.

The next three races will take place at tracks chosen by the winner of the previous race. The winner can pick from the eligible track list that can be found below. Additionally the list is broken up in to three groups. Each group can only have one track chosen from it in a nights event.

Ok folks. Here are the cars that you will all be voting on for Season 2! Please select one car in each group via PM only to @jobyone . Each race you participated in during Season 1 (there were 8 races total...2 races each week) will count as 1 vote. So if you raced in all 8 races your votes will carry more weight than if you raced in only 1.

FF Drivetrain:
#1 TRD Celica Sports M '00 416pp
#2 Ford Focus ST '13 436pp

4WD Drivetrain:
#1 Subaru Impreza GT300 Base Model '08 514pp

Once everyone has voted and the winning car in each group has been selected, we will have another vote where the winning tracks will be selected.

@AJKVail , @kendawg, @GGGMotorsport , @fzappa, @dylansan, @Kgffy, @WhiterunGuard, @tezgm99, @Schmiggz, @Zii1993, @socalnatv, @Drgreenthumb977, @88GTA
