Here is my best GT500 time so far: 1:58.701
for comparison GT300 from me 2:08.361
I assume the top GT500 will be 2-3 secs faster than me.

@Wardez or Main officials; Spending the day w/ my dad tomorrow watching Football, out to lunch and golfing so will not be able to make it tomorrow. For the record, had a wonderful race and time doing Apricot and I look forward to racing with you guys for the regular season, have a nice, fun clean race tomorrow!

When some people have been practising an a Steward or Marshall can attend for qualifying an smooth running of room an we have a good attendance i dont see why it should be a problem
So qualifying has to be done 2 hours before race? That isnt a problem i will be on most of all day just to make sure thing's run smooth as its only pre-season no point being stressed, get to know other racer's styles etc an for them to know your's

Yeah, thanks for the good word there McBride, that's the right attitude. And just to be clear, you can qualify at any time up to two hours before the race green flag time, otherwise you'll have to put yourself on the waiting list if you want to participate.
And yeah, about this thing conflicting with NFL games, that's one of the reasons I wanted to run it on Fridays, so it wouldn't clash with American football, since right now the playoffs are going on and our Sundays will be compromised by that until the Superbowl hits in February.

Pre-Race Briefing Announcement
Since no one (besides Holty of course) cared to qualify this time, I think we should hold pre-race qualifying and split the rooms into groups according to the race roll call list. Simplest way I can think of to just get this one going and race.
So add your name to the list that's currently going and I'll split the rooms into even divisions for the race. This will be finalized 2 hours before the start of the race, afterwhich people who wish to join will be put at the back of the final division.
These rooms will perform a 10 minute pre-race qualifying session to set the grid then go right into the race. After the race start, normal racing procedures will take place with the GT300 cars giving themselves a 6 km, or 1 lap, head start to line up behind the GT500s for the formation.
This race is 100km again, so no stopping will be necessary. Unfortunately, all our races will have to be this short in order to avoid encountering the tire bug which affects performance after pit stops.

This way we'll avoid the inevitable "no-show" drivers that will become a problem. I'll split the list up into even divisions once we're two hours away from starting so we can assign rooms and hosts.
