Started 5th, finished 5th. Around lap 5 or so I was in 2nd/3rd for a lap or two, and then for nearly 10 laps GrayFox and I had an incredible battle for 5th, he had made an amazing comeback from a spin on lap 2. We were very close together, and for nine of the ten I held my line down, and then I messed up around lap 15 on the first turn, braked way too early and he made the pass, making it easy for him to get some time on me.

Overall, incredible race, I had a great time.

EDIT: GrayFox; That was an amazing battle man

We got started a bit late in Division 1, but everything worked out except for a couple of people that joined late because they had the wrong start time. I made a mistake a few laps in sitting in 2nd and dropped to the back. Made up a spot when CAGE pitted for some reason and was able to catch and eventually pass Kazy. We fought it out for a while until his tires gave up (should have let me go :P) and that was the extent of my moving forward. Glad it's just pre-season. 5th isn't bad I guess. :)

Division 3

First of all today was my first race with my new racing wheel Logitech Driving force pro and first race on this forum. I didn't practise to much but i was ok during the pre-race practise with good race pace so i had good reason to have nice result in race. I started P4 and in the first lap i do a big mistake and i lost +6,5sec, after that i push really hard and lap by lap i was faster and faster, in the end i win the race. It was good

Results for GT300s Division3. Near flawless race. Formation lap could of been better but that was cleared up after the race. Only 2 disconnects. Great job Div3!

Edit My Race recap:
Formation lap was split into two groups. We cleared that up after the race (You can speed up to catch the group ahead. Do it safely.). First lap exiting turn 5 lost the back end and spun, last place. Ph7 had lost it following my debacle. We motored down gaining positions and battling. Reaching Harrison for a good 3 way battle. Ph7 loses it second to last corner and Harrison and I battle for position. End up pulling away and as the daylight fades to night try my hardest to gain more positions. Not enough time resulted in my fourth place finish. Very good race and conduct from the new guys. Good job everyone!

At least that was entertaning :P
Sorry for the bump when you were on the outside at T1. Tires were starting to go by then and car understeered a bit. Great fight 👍

Had lots of fun and thanks for a good race guys, hopefully next time I wont mess up my qualys and will compete properly in div1. Started 2nd and finished 1st with best lap time 1'20.908.

@CAM sry for kind of forcing you to make a mistake in last corner. You didn't close the "door" on time and I had far more exit speed from chicane then you so I had to go inside but would have braked slightly and backed out, you shouldn't have change your line! Cheers

Division 2 race. We made the GT300s do 2 laps rather than 3, seems to have worked out better, we all finished on the same lap.

Was fun! Just gutted I made a ridiculously stupid mistake to ruin my race. Made a good start and others had made mistakes of their own, so obviously heading into Turn 1 on Lap 2 I've made loads of positions and I'm high on that "omgomg" feeling. Totally forget that I'm in a massive tow behind a car, brake at my normal point, straight on into the gravel.

Lost 16 seconds (wheyyyy!) in the process - was very pleased with my race pace though, ended up catching Kamy and Turbo who had done a great job of holding each other up (cheers Kam :D) - I guess others had issues too but only ended up 12secs down on the lead which isn't too shabby really. Silverstone next thank God :D

Enjoyed my race with Veloci with a few good fights for position. Took the lead after a few laps, kept it for a few as well which was nice. Me and Veloci had a coming together at the first corner due to a rather keen move from him haha. He tried to let me go past after but I didn't realise, held each other up and allowed billy and alien to get in our slipstream.

In the end finished up 4th after I went a bit erratic and spun on the 2nd to last lap :ouch::ouch: but overall a good race and good fun. Here's to Silverstone :)

ya, Im not 100% I can make the other pre-season race, so I figured Ill go after Mt. Panorama if anyone was interested and needing something to waste some time.

Oh , this looks like fun , is it too late to sign up for the next race/season? I see your low on GT500 so I could do that (slower car would probably fit me better but I'm all for some fun and helping out the cause )

Firstly, great job for my cro teammates:tup:

Had connection problems from begining.
Lost my whill when we started race and only saw 11 of you...
I knew I could only couse you trouble and am kinda glad I got DC.Also tried to avoid you at begining of the race by assuming where you could be placed
That mistake what came few corner later was real relief(cold tires, lag, probably touchin one of you...)

Enyhow, I think Very high settigns in room is just too much for my connection, not sure it will work in future too.I'll see how it goes next race and decide if I will continue all of this.

Also had a strange occurrence where the entire grid disappeared on race begin. It wasn't like in GT5 where there is one person "loading" the entire time. Its not the first time this happened to me in GT6 either, which confuses me a lot. I'm hardwired behind a router.

I also experienced some connection issues. Apex was in front of me dodging around like a pinball. On and off the track into and out of sand traps. Lol According to qualifying I thought I should have started in front of him but on my screen he was in front of me to start the race.

I am absolutely terrible in traffic with all the noise around me since I use third person view which is my own fault. I just don’t have enough experience racing in a tight pack like that since that was my first online racing in GT6 other then Saturday's miatas race. Which also was disastrous for me.

So in a nutshell I apologize in advance for being slow as hell in front of ppl until I can fine tune my ability to cope with the noise I experience.

Great race, horrible result for me.

I realised this race how "damaged" I am from running alot of WTCC-style races. Used to running 10-15 laps, so I was pushing way to hard for positions in the first laps and wound up spinning out. Either way, great learning experience. Didn't lose a lot of time to the leader last 12 laps, so a little more paitience next time could be good for me :-P

Sorry for the Lag everyone, maybe someone in the house was using the wifi, not sure, i forgot tu turn the anthena off, but from my pov i didn't see anyone laging :/
Eiter way, today i managed to forward all GT6 ports in my router, so i hope thar fixes it a bit.

And about the race start position, i onley knew i was behind roman in the grid but he disconnected, so i was confused afther that.

Yeah thats why I like to participate in these preseason races. Its very beneficial and I still enjoyed the race entirely. No problem Apex at all. Might get on in a few hours to test at silverstone. Ill post a room if I do so.

For anyone who is as keen/cool as me...

I thought we had to pit lol.. Neither the less am just glad that tracks by with lol..

Next Silverstone :)

i had already registered in the pure site... i do prefer the brz tbh... u have a lot more people interested in 300? i wouldnt mind switching if needed

Yeah, it's almost 50 GT300s vs 20 GT500s.

I may be able to switch over to GT500, although I do like the BRZ a lot, I did run a GT-R for nearly a year for my own SGT Club.

I'll test to see where I stand compared to others in GT500 and I would potentially need a few others to join over to GT500 as well, considering the fact most of GT500 drivers currently are much quicker then I am in GT500.

I'll keep you posted @Wardez
