I doubt it's this kind of bug as we tested these tyres for over 20 laps and they never heat up.

As you mentioned above I also think this might actually be intentional. But I don't see why, only explenation I see is that PD promised a big online community update with official GT events and other features.

Maybe they don't want us to start any private events by then, but then again I don't see why they would go so far with this. Really hard to figure out what PD is up to. I just hope they have a plan behind this. If not, they are really taking the fun out of this game as we can not have any endurance races and strategy which is the best part of racing imo.

Why would it be intentional if this bug also kills the top speed, dont see why stikier tires could affect this in real life... Also after the latest update it seems the grip when you go off track is like GT5 now, and sucks you off the track even more so...

I just hope people would do their qualifying few hours before race and not 10 min till deadline. It gets really busy for us stewards on Sundays because of that.


Btw, very pleased about the races yesterday. I got three 2nd places, 2nd in Q and two times 2nd in the race and the fastest lap in race 1. I think I collected the most points in both races than any driver and my team got a huge amount of points, so cant complain at all!

See you next week at the Stone. Not my fav track but I'll do my best.

Edit: Imo the tire bug is not intentional. (although PD might be too concerned with adding concepts with no intention of becoming reality to notice.) :/

you can drop 2 rounds, so right now it's only taking your best of 3.
