Turnaround race?

I have a feeling you might end up like my dear old dad, bb. He's not very technically minded and usually has trouble even working the remote controller for the telly. If he wants to increase the volume he changes channel instead and if he wants channel 1 he goes to 238 instead.

All that is if he can turn the tv on in the first place . 💡

Tell me about it!..
No, you don't have to press the anything else just the Sky button. Now you've turned the TV off and the sky box on! Try again. Right they are both on now but you've deselected the satellite channel, you'll have to scroll through the inputs. Tell you what, shall I turn it on for you. :boggled:

...and can do stuff on excel nobody has ever seen
Here's a funny thing...
I had a friend at work who was teaching himself Excel on the workstation behind me (cad/cam stuff). One day I heard him muttering to himself and asked him what was wrong. "I can't get this to work" he said, "if only there was the formula if and or." Hmm, I thought...

I'm with you, bb.
On the phone (like I am now) I can spend ten minutes trying to quote a post and twenty minutes trying to like a post.
Touch screen phones/tablets - meant to be looked at not worked on!
It's taken me 40 minutes to write this! It would have been quicker to have turned the PC on.

I sometimes wish I hadn't started browsing GTP on the phone altogether.

If I try to like a post I may have to press on the like button ten times before anything actually happens. And the times it doesn't work
I can get redirected to God knows where. The screen can suddenly think I want to "multi-quote" or it can redirect me to a link in someones
signature or even report something I have no interest in reporting.

When trying to quote a post I can be in the middle of a sentence when suddenly words from a previous paragraph get scrambled or
disappear! completely.

I've learned it works better if you finish writing your reply and then afterwards insert the quote you want.
Only problem then is it looks a bit odd when you're replying to a quote that is below your own text.

I'm sure our beloved Headmaster @S_Bridge agrees on these pains. :ouch:

ps. The phone is good though for changing avatars. Which someone I know does quite a lot.

Oh, that's good to know. I thought it was just mine. :indiff:
What I'd like to know is.. where does the words go when they disappear? Who is stealing our words, Paul?

But when it comes to the TV he's all thumbs. How can that be?

I have all the Panther DVD's. With Sellers that is (not the Steve Martin ones O_o).

Unfortunately, I wont be able to make it Jocke. I forgot to pay the bill and now they have cut internet service. My parents don't trust paying online, so unless I manage to somehow convince them, I'll be offline

Up to my eyes in work, might need to work late. Will try my very best to be there, if not, have a good one!

* This might be the last Z8 / SUV / Truck Tuesday for a while.
I may be about to start a different championship in the GT6 Racing Series forum and if so use this Club's Tuesday time slot for it.

That championship will last for eight weeks (eight Tuesday's) and afterwards the Z8's may continue.
Of course all Z8 friends are welcome to join that other championship. :)
It's not finished yet though.

I'll try to be there. Gave my Z8 last some testing kms. Very tail happy with CS's.
Yes, you really need to be quick but careful. :)
I want to join the race , but how?
Patrick and jammy has helped you by mentioning that you need to add my PSN and find the Club (ID: 1001609).
The event will look like this and you need to enter no later than 20:00 GMT;

Thanks Patrick & jammy. :)
