Sorry guys..man this sucksWell, time to make a ham sammich...
Edit: Hey @micantony, let's make some ham sammiches together for the whole turtle crew while they race! THANKS PD 👎👎👎
Well, whatever no big deal. I'm frustrated but technology is always does this to everyone. Sure, it sucks, but it's happened before and happens to everyone. Well, I'll be in for race 2. If I don't disconnect while spectating...Sorry guys..man this sucks
Great to Hear thatRace 2 just ended, thanks to the organizers for such a fun event. I was very rusty and hope didn't ruined it for anyone. Will definitely join next week!
So tonight I've learned that I should never race with a DS3 again and I should never race at my house that I'm staying at. Ever again. Apparently, my connection is laggy... Very laggy.
The lag didn't ruin my race it ruined others. I'm too used to using a wheel and the fact that I can't bring it everywhere upsets me. Didn't @jay*doc say something about starting a mobile racing simulator company?

And when we all disconnect, we all blame it on PD 👍
The racing was awesome tonight!! There was some close finishes in every division! 👍Hope everyone had a great race tonight, we just moved houses this weekend, rig and tv have moved into my room and t500 on the way, can't wait to finally get some racing in
Thanks!! You betcha, it was greatCongrats Ph1sher and all Turtle staff.
Great night race and lots of fun.
Hahaha what an interesting evening for me... Refusing to spend another 2-3 hours on the dining room chair of torture, I decided this afternoon that I would try to switch up my setup...
First attempt, no good... Second attempt... No good... Third attempt was awkward and uncomfortable but I came to the sudden realization that it was already 9:30 and there was no way that I could just go back to my original desk/chair combo... So I quickly tried to just plug everything back in... But I couldn't get the pedals to stay in a decent spot...
By the time I had everything in somewhat working order and finally say down, I saw the D2 quali ticker hit 2...1...
So I figured, oh well... I'll just spectate for the first race and see f I can make the setup work... At all...
After a minute or two I figured I'd jump over to D1 and see how there night was going to discover that they were having a world of issues trying to get started and they invited me to just stay and race...
First race, my wheel fell off... My pedals slid down... But, all in all I thought it could've been worse and I ran a decent race, all things considered.
Between races I tightened up my ratchet strap, and did some more jury-rigging to keep the pedals in place...
Second race was going great, again , all things considered... And then the exact thing I warned myself before about the curbstones that like to just randomly launch you into orbit got me... And with the sun going down I was driving on ice... Oh well.
If I had a shred of embarrassment about it, there's no way I'd post pictures of what this turned out to be, but it's just too funny and I'm surprised I ran as well as I did with this "rig" hahahaView attachment 109727View attachment 109728
That'll be the latter....don't get us wrong, we love you in D2 and miss the sound of heavy breathing but we like to have a chance at winningI'll do my best not to get relegated tonight! I seriously doubt I will, on the account that Phish won't let me go down to D2. That, or D2 just won't let me race with them.
I had fun last night in my return to Division 2! I must say I had problems getting to sleep last night because I was a little jacked up after the races. It's been a while since I was in the thick of it for the entire hour and a half. Congrats to johnsom and liampage on their race victories!
