Thats basically what the gentleman rule is stating.

Actually, the way you wrote the rule was only to slow down intentionally if you are potentially making a dangerous reentry with another car near you.

In my view the above was always a rule. The gentleman's rule should state if a driver exceeds the track boundaries inadvertently, even if running alone, one should lift off throttle for 3-5 seconds as a self imposed penalty. I watched several guys in qualifying exceed the curbing on their fastest qualifying lap.

Noone lifted. :rolleyes:

I'm very bitter still to not have returned to the room before qualifying was initiated the second time. When I backed out my entire ps3 froze and I had to restart everything. I must have missed the restart of qualifying by only a couple minutes:censored: :mad:

We were trying to wait as late as possible for you but we saw you went offline for a bit so we had to start qualy since we did already back out of qualy once.

Turtle Racing League - Race Night Recap

Division 1: Who Wants to Go Fishing? Everyone Does! But no one could catch the Fish at Spa! He clearly dominated this week, setting a wicked 1’19.094 Pole Lap!! His times continued through the race and just decided to leave Spa! However the Fish did get passed for 1 lap in Race 1 by GTMX-HECTO1 due to Pits, but overtook GTMX-HECTO1 the next lap when HECTO1 went into the Pits. Also there was no pit stop issues that caused us to change tires. GTMX-HECTO1 actually spun up at the top of eru rouge! He went spinning which left it too GTP_Ph7shr and DolphDrago in Race 1, but GTP_Ph7shr took off. DolphDrago finished in 2nd Place in Race 1. Though DolphDrago got the competition by HECTO1 in Race 2. They both had an awesome battle! HECTO1 actually claimed 2nd in race 2 followed by DolphDrago in 3rd Place in Race 2 which led to a tie in the final results for second Place. DolphDrago was able to grab the tie breaker due to a faster lap time. BionicDerp kept the car on track in both races, and was running super consistent! Which led Derp to get a very awesome 2 4th Place Finishes! SilverFire41 continued his derpy Firepower in Race 1 grabbing a great 5th Place finish! SilverFire41 still did great in Race 2 by finishing 6th Place! RacingOtaku86 snapped himself out of regulation to D2! Otaku ran strong in both Races! grabbing some very strong finishes in both races! GTP_Wins had some troubles with his car in his return to Turtle Racing League, Wins got slightly bumped by turnupdaheat on lap 1 first turn. Wins continued the race and did very well getting up to 3rd,4th,5th Place range, but an unexpected suspension camber part in his Turtle Shell blows, causing him to go off track, Wins trys to get back on track to get back into the pits, but the next lap he goes back into the kitty litter! Wins Suspension on his Turtle Shell had blew up and slowly went into the pits to try to fix his Shell. Unfortunately he was unable to start Race 2 due to suspension failures. Turnupdaheat had to back out in Race 1 early due to concern weather he had made some bad contact with Wins. Though turnupdaheat finished very well in Race 2. Micantony and gr8racrs had some serious trouble with their connection which forced them to miss Race 1 sadly. micantony decided to call it a night after PD had some words at them. Saying that micantony went off to go Fire his Pit Chief who wouldn’t let him race. gr8racrs however joined us for Race 2 and had some laggy problems but still did very well and finished 10th in Race 2! Knukken joined us for Race 2 with no practice and improved lap by lap moving up the grid lap by lap which knukken finished 7th Place.

Division 2: Oh, Canada! Canadian flags were abound on the podiums this weekend in Belgium. With the top four cars qualifying within 2 tenths of each other, this was destined to be a close competition. Race 1 saw a four way battle with lead changes among three of the cars for all 19 laps. johnsom ran a clean and consistent race to take a two second victory over his fellow canuck liampage123. Scarecrow937 was the first American in the mix causing tension for the Canadians and wrapped up the final podium spot for race 1. An early incident caused the pole sitter, G_Parilla, to drop off the initial pace however consistent driving brought him across the line in 4th place. The top 4 cars all crossed with the next position directly ahead in their sight-line. Latenight-Rider and spyagent1439 cruised around for 5th and 6th respectively, and a faulty ignition box on ANFD's car caused him to sit idle out on the racetrack for several laps. Once his engine was humming again, he paced around earning respect and much needed championship points. Race two came down to a battle between liampage123 and Scarecrow937. liampage123 eventually got the better of Scarecrow937 after 18 laps of tight racing lead to him stretching a late lead and gave him a clean victory. johnsom again showed his quick pace coming in with a 3rd place showing. Hot on his tail though were ANFD and G_Parrilla. ANFD took 4th with a repaired car and jumped up a few positions in the final standings. After storming up to the lead twice, G_Parrilla dropped off pace, but kept the fight on for the two drivers who finished in front of him. spyagent1439 was quick early, taking a lead for a while as well, but a major accident took him out of the draft of the pack and gave him a 6th place. Latenight-Rider was running a good race, however a spinout going into the final chicance just past the halfway mark took his car out of commission and lead to a 7th place. In the end, liampage123 and johnsom took 1-2 in the overall. Call the Prime Minister, bragging rights for Division 2 this week are going up north!

Division 3: R1 at the Spa was a real doozy The actual winner of this race is Randy1122 as unknown racer merine35 went wide off track on the big downhill sweeper 16/19 laps. Also an unknown racer blackbone raced fast and clean. After attempting a hellish pass halfway down the big straight on lap 1 that had him mowing grass tzracer came back on track as paralell as possible and bumped blackbone who returned the nudge at the next turn a little rough back n forth but nothing flagrant by either. blackbone speaks enough english to be considered for membership IMO. I saw at least one divebomb at turn 1 midrace by SandReckoner but no one suffered a loss of position. I did not see any apparent blocking by gears1000 whom I heard someone call out during the race. However going into turn 3 of the 2nd lap he T-bombed tzracer spinning him out, giving back position but resulting in 1 lost position for both. Rough start for tz kudos on clawing your way back for a 6th place finish. Going into R2 for clarification I cited the OLR rule on defensive driving and overlap. The tension was high all the racers were closely matched in skill by at least 1 or more other racers. Except for Busteds slow ass I think he had an anchor dragging behind him. Is there a division 4A? randy1122 and dpinho1975 had an excellent battle in Race 2! just finishing within a second of each other! gears1000 was right behind them as well. Tzracer and SandReckoner had a great battle for a bit as well. But tzracer pulled away from sandreckoner! euclid58, CoachMK21 and Busted all struggled in Race 2 but still ran very well in the Toyota FT-1!
