Would anyone care to share their avg. lap times? I have been running some practice laps, just wanna see is I am going to come close to holding my own this week?
 
I thought I'd give everyone a quick update since I have time to type for a bit. It's been a rough couple of weeks in the Scarecrow household... I had a family member do something stupid and I had to bail them out, literally. He is living with me now until he can get his stuff straight, but unfortunately he is living in the room where my wheel is normally setup and I just don't have room for it at this time. I regretfully won't be able to run for a few weeks. This all happened last Saturday right before I was due to host, so I apologize to the stewards for not being there and appreciate their last minute scurry to find hosts and make this happen. To top things off, on Monday the motor blew in my car. It was a 5.3L V8 from a 2006 GMC Envoy Denali, so it's a big boy and not cheap. I'm dead broke with no hope in site. My new phone (LG G2) also had some issues for a bit, but that is worked out now. Sorry if I've been short with anyone lately and for my lack of participation, but this has just been a stressful time for my family. I hope to be back shortly and I'll keep in touch as much as possible in the meantime.

(Side note: I'm clueless with computers, but soon as I figure out how to post pics and get my car back, I'll post some pics of my brand new Turtle Racing League stickers. Jay-Doc did a great job and deserves credit. Please PM him if you are interested in ordering any. They are high quality)

If you want to look at the bright side, I do believe you are now officially qualified to make millions as a Country musician.

It's all good man, we've all been there (probably not there, specifically... but you know what I mean.)

Awkward Segue: I have decided to order a G27 and an OpenWheeler Advanced rig with Gear shift mount. Not my first choice, but the reviews seemed good... and with my wife's Amazon Prime we got free shipping on the whole thing, making it easily the cheapest I do believe I could possibly get. Plus, it'll all be here Tuesday. :D
 
@scarecrow937 Sorry to hear that. Sometimes its harder on you to help someone else out. As far as your Denali... when it rains, it pours eh? My f150 has a rod knocking and its the 5.4 V8.. I'm praying it lasts until I get my tax returns to fix it before it blows. I hope everything lines out sooner than later for you.

That's what happened with the Denali. Rod wore out, valve touched piston and bam!! You would be amazed how quick oil pressure dumps to 0psi. Got good news right after my last post though. Sony called and my wireless surround sound/blu-ray player will be back from repairs in a business week. This is the last of the electronics we had to replace or repair after lightning hit the house in late summer. As some of you recall, the PS3 was the first thing we replaced, lol.

Yup I still have that one and the 2nd one. Amazing it still works I must have watched it hundreds of times as a kid.

Oh man, it feels so weird to turn on my PS3 with GT6. Haven't done so in over 45 days. Thanks to Severn. ;) About to go on now to dust off the rust. Time to get in shape. I see that we will be racing a BMW M3 tomorrow. Can't wait.

Turtle Racing League - Reserved Turtles

-These Racers are unable to attend a lot of races,or have not raced with us in several weeks, but still own there color combo with a number! However If you really want their number or color combo, feel free to take it! But If the Turtle returns, and wants to race more often with us, you must give them their color combo or number, and choose a new combo. Or if you haven't Raced with Turtle Racing League for Several Months, your Color combo / Number will be gone and when re-joining you will have to pick a new combo. If your Returning from a months absent, and don't see your name on the drivers list, Post in the thread that your back, and would like to race with us again.
