R we racing Indy on Saturday or Sunday?
It isn't hooked up to the main tv, but I can still see it while I'm racing
We're racing it Saturday night. Sorry about that. To many electrical shocks has caused my mind to be confused some times.
And for the curious minds, 480 volts doesn't hurt any worse than 120. It just hits alot harder. I think. I might be confused..

The Ferrari FXX at indy is going to great. 58 laps of 220 mph straight away speeds. It's going to be awesome.

A hefty 1.3 mil for GT academy with full login bonus, will definitely help with the FXX shopping
Messed up my last sector but still 900th
How are you guys doing on it?

I'm going to spend my limited time this week practicing for the Indy race. I'll give gt academy a go Sunday night.

Pit strategies will be a part of our indy race more than any race we've ran(or that I've been a part of) so far in gt6. In my opinion. There will be multiple pit stops.
Some sooner, some later than others. Depends on how fast you want to go.
Aero push is going to be a factor also. I realized t hat today running laps with busted.
This race will be awesome

900-something. I'm not putting any more time into a combo that isn't fun to drive.

Really? I didn't think it was too terrible. The GT-R understeers like a hog on throttle thanks to that AWD drivetrain so maybe the Z would have been a bit better.

Has anyone else noticed that the three tracks so far are the new additions since GT5? Brands, Apricot Hill and now Bathurst. So maybe a GT-R GT3 at Silverstone or Willow Springs in the last round?

Then again the wizards at PD might cook us up some other brew...

Apparently hackers are saying it'll be a GT-R GT3 @ Spa.

And yeah, it's that bad for me.

I thought Round 3 at Mt Panorama was the best GT academy event to date. Loads of fun throwing that car around Bathhurst. To each his own i guess.

I wasn't able to hit that perfect lap for myself though.

It definitely has more replay-ability for me... I finally put a clean gold lap down last night and didn't feel the need to just drop it and move on, but continued to try to improve... you can string together laps even if one is dirty without having to restart (in most cases) which I like.

Seriously? Its a 4WD car, how is it that UN-drivable? I've yet to try it, but it can't be that bad.
It's pretty understeery... and also, they're real sticklers about track boundaries... I didn't get a clean lap for my first 30 minutes of trying or so.

Well, maybe if you guys didn't push your cars too hard, maybe you can keep it on course. :)

You don't have to go off track to be black flagged. Some corners, if you just touch the inside of a curb it'll DQ you. I also got DQ'd for taking the Aussie corkscrew too well.

I decided to go back to it... was in the top 160 yesterday.

A lot of the enjoyment is certainly the track. I truly enjoy it. And with so many places to improve ones time and get better with the car, it kept it interesting to me. Most of these stupid academy events are a matter of perfecting a speed on a certain line on a certain corner to get that extra tenth or two of a second. B_O_R_I_N_G!

Damn, I was getting closer to you last night

I'll probably do practice tomorrow as I probably won't be making the race on Saturday sadly

Well now my time's 1:14.030. That's 155th. Have fun.

Still at work, but I definitely know I left a lot of time out there. I (was) catching up to you on the downhill section, but I'm assuming that's the main area where you improved
