Lineup subject to change despite it being at exactly 2000PP :sly:

^ You guys and your brilliant computer skills :rolleyes:

Did I mention that I HATE the Scirocco? I stubbornly refuse to do any mods or tuning and can't do better than .5 seconds off gold. I tried for almost an hour last night. :banghead: I knew there was a reason I had never driven that car before...

Has anyone else also noticed that all the cars new to the series in GT6 are significantly faster at their PP than the older cars? Maybe because they were built around the new engine and not just transferred into it?

Hey Guys. I am going to attempt to make some big changes to the OP. If you take a look you will see I have some GIFs. One of a PP lineup around 410PP and one that has 4 tracks. The track gif will eventually have all the current tracks that we are using. These images will also become links to the track and car/PP details for the series. I would like to add some more lineup images to the car gif. If you would like to choose a lineup and take some pics I will add them to the gif. I would love to add a PP lineups around 350/450/500. So if you would like to see a lineup that you have chosen feel free to choose 4 cars, paint them and take pictures. Ideally the cars will be the same color combo and in the same identical shot so they will link together nicely as a lineup. Below is my 410ish PP lineup as an example

I did the same....just couldn't make it so I caved and bought the racing chip and a double plate clutch for the shifts. Same thing for the NSX one although that could be more me not knowing Ascari very well than the cars' fault :/

The NSX one I found much easier than the Scirocco. I golded that 3 or 4th try (the first 2 or 3 times I went off course).

<---- I'm itching to use this car in some close racing but I don't see any DTM leagues and we rarely get high enough in the PP range. Luckily it dropped 14 PP points from GT5. My favorite car since GT2.

@jobyone
Qualifying is at Nurb GP/F and don't forget about these cars for the spreadsheet:
Alfa 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 432pp
RE Amemiya FD3S RX-7 520pp
BMW M3 '04 477pp
SRT Viper GTS '13 573pp

Maybe DTC should run a DTM night. We each choose four DTM cars and have to run each once. You want to organize it?

We could let him tart up a 406 since they raced in the British Touring car series or maybe the 307. So long as he is down 100pp;)

Did some testing yesterday and made a few changes.

FF - Xsara Rally 481pp
4WD - Pug 206 Rally 490pp
FR - C5 Z06 '00 511pp
MR - Megane Trophy '11 518pp

Joby,
Corvette Z06 '00 is now 511pp. Up 5 PP from GT5.

These are the DTM cars in GT6 (?):
Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI Touring Car '93
Audi A4 Touring Car '04
Audi Abt Audi TT-R Touring Car ‘'02
Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 –16 Evolution II Touring Car ‘'92
Mercedes-Benz CLK Touring Car '‘00
Opel Astra Touring Car (Opel Team Phoenix) ‘'00
Opel Calibra Touring Car ‘'94
Vauxhall Astra Super Touring Car '‘00
Vauxhall Calibra Super Touring Car ‘'94

Shotty on the Alfa. And in case anyone has some spare cash, can I borrow some for this?

Thanks for the late night practice yesterday, Joe :)
Yeah that was unusual for me. Glad I did it...I learned some things that saved me some seriously wasted PP.

My choices are on the sheet...Ken is not allowed to copy any of my choices ;)

Who would be interested in a DTM night?

@jobyone
This week at work will be a nightmare for me but I wanted to start looking at the cars soon. Would this be run on a normal DTC night or a separate night? If it is separate, what would work for you so that you can make the race?

My initial thoughts are to split the 90's and '00s cars into two divisions. We can run two 45 min races, once at a Nurb short layout (like this week's GP/F) and one at maybe Silverstone? Racing hards, fast tire/fuel wear and one pit stop minimum.

Post your opinions guys.

Yes I believe it is on the list. The DTM changed in 2000 so I'm assuming those cars are a bit faster than the 90's cars. I'll try to compare PP values when I get a chance to fire up the game again.

I just noticed I had the wrong qualifying track listed on post 2. The Qualifying track is

Nurb GP/F

Well folks, I'm back at school, and the internet here is atrocious. I will keep working to find a solution, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to participate in anything in the near future.

Sorry to hear that racefan. We will miss racing with you if you can't make it again for a while.

A line-up change was required when I saw the amount of French in my previous one
FF - Xsara Rally 481pp
4WD - Pug 206 Rally 490pp
FR - C5 Z06 '00 511pp
MR - Megane Trophy '11 518pp

So here goes (only half French now):
FF - Citroen 481pp
4WD - Subaru 483pp
FR - Subaru 518pp
MR - RenaultSport 518pp

Edit:
And congrats to @tezgm99 and @JoeW for winning their divisions Sunday night. Some fast SOBs in this damn series...

To do the pics -splice method do you have to shoot from the initial camera position when you get to the specific spot or can you move the camera?

Tonights untested lineup: :)

Went with stuff i already have....fingers crossed

Scirocco VW FF 515
Amuse NISMO 380RS Super Leggera FR 522
Tommykaira ZZ-S '00 MR/RR 483
Subaru S206 NBR CHALLENGE PACKAGE '12 4WD 478

^I'll let the image experts handle that question Rolly but I think you fix the camera and move the cars.

I looked at the DTM cars on our spreadsheet which still has the GT5 pp values for the cars. The '00 cars are much higher; in GT5 values the '00 CLK TC was 601pp compared to the '93 Alfa V6 TI at 546pp. The Alfa came down 14pp for GT6 so I'll check out the dealership values of the cars when I get home.

These are the GT5 PP values for the DTM cars and the GT6 new PP values are bold:
Audi A4 Touring Car '04 634pp --> 567pp
Mercedes-Benz CLK Touring Car '‘00 601pp --> 579pp
Audi Abt Audi TT-R Touring Car ‘'02 587pp --> 572pp
Opel Astra Touring Car (Opel Team Phoenix) ‘'00 572pp --> 572pp
Vauxhall Astra Super Touring Car '‘00 572pp --> 572pp
Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI Touring Car '93 546pp --> 532pp
Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 –16 Evolution II Touring Car ‘'92 540pp --> 527pp
Vauxhall Calibra Super Touring Car ‘'94 531pp --> 539pp
Opel Calibra Touring Car ‘'94 unlisted pp --> 531pp

Rolly,

It is easiest to leave the camera position in its default. Any movement would have to be done twice for each shot and the chances of getting it the same are about .0000000000001. I wish we could use co-ordinates for camera position.

Also make sure all camera settings are identical.

I look forward to seeing your shots

Good news! Just got off the phone with the IT department and was finally able to talk to someone half way competent. Assuming nothing else goes wrong, I should be able to race tonight! I'll post a lineup shortly, but if I don't show up in time don't wait for me, because probably means my network crapped itself again.

That Amuse 380 is only 510PP, Rolly...so you have some extra points if you wanted to upgrade your 4WD and/or MR/RR option :)
