Race Format:
Following the release of GT6 update 1.07, we will now be running 2 hour races as opposed to predetermined laps. There will be a set caution period during the race, at the halfway point, lasting for 4 minutes. This is your break if you need to get up and use the restroom, etc.

Race Night Schedule
Aprrox. 9:30 ET - Room open
10:00 PM - 10:10 PM - Qualifying for Race
10:10 PM - 12:10 AM(approx.) - Race

Application procedure:
- GTP/PSN ID
- Car/ Wheel Color(Optional)
- Racing Number(Optional)

Regulations:
All races will be reviewed and penalties will be enforced according to the OLR Rules
Grid: Grid Start w/ False Start Check
Boost: Low
Penalty: None
Visible Damage: Off
Mechanical Damage: Light
Slipstream Strength: Real
Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption: Normal
Grip Reduction: Real
Tire Restrictions: Racing Hard(Intermediate and Rain available during wet conditions)
Vehicle Tuning: Prohibited
Driving Aids: Only ABS allowed​

Cautions:
Each race will include two(2) caution periods at a predetermined times. This is used to bunch the field up, and give everyone a short break as the race is 2 hours long. The procedure and rules for cautions are as follows:​

Race Schedule:

Race Start - 2:00.000
Caution 1 Start - 1:06.000
Caution 2 Start - 0:25:000
Race Finish - 0:00.000​

- At the start of each caution period the lead driver will hit the pause button to slow car to caution speed and type "caution" in the chat box
- After "caution" has been announced, all cars will continue until they have caught up to the field behind the leader
- No overtaking during cautions
- Pits are open during caution, but you may get overtaken by cars that choose not to pit or overtake you in pit lane
- If you are overtaken while in pit lane, you will rejoin the field in the order you exit pit lane
- If you are down a lap(s), you may attempt to make that lap(s) up provided you do not gain a position
- Each caution will resume at the start/finish line

Points System and Prizes:
The points system will be as follows:
Pole winner of 15 min qualifier - 1 point

Race:
1st-16 points
2nd-15 points
3rd- 14 points
4th- 13 points
5th- 12 points
6th- 11 points
7th- 10 points
and so on.
This is based on the room open for 16 racers.(No point adjustment for how many racers are racing to keep it simple)

Caution(1/2 way through race):
1st - 5 points
2nd - 4 points
3rd - 3 points
4th - 2 points
5th - 1 point

At the end of each season the top 6 drivers will be awarded the opportunity to pick out the new car and tracks for the next season. As of Season 22, Vision Gran Turismo cars are no longer eligible for prize selection. The prize system is as follows:

1st Overall - Car for next season
2nd Overall - Track for next season
3rd Overall - Track for next season
4th Overall - Track for next season
5th Overall - Track for next season
6th Overall - Track for next season

So we are able to have a race each Saturday(minus holidays), I ask that we have the track and car combos decided upon by at least Wednesday. If the track you pick has weather and or time change make sure to chose that when you pick your track. After the car and all the tracks have been picked, I will shuffle them up and announce the schedule. Once the schedule has been posted above you cannot change this.

Sounds good, I was thinking of using the R-34 GT-R pace car, since it has working lights and would do the best job for pace car. I do have to add to the original post that we won't be using a pace car or heavy damage on the Nurburgring as that would be quite insane, especially if someone would crash early in the lap.

As for Spa, I hadn't noticed that before and I'll be updating the post. Thanks for pointing that out, and showing interest in being the pace car. If you have any idea of which nights you wouldn't be available let me know and I'll try to get someone else to cover for you.

The first four races are gonna be iffy cause I'm in the slow process of cleaning up a house then moving into it from an apartment. After that I should be a little more consistent. Hopefully nothing catastrophic will happen if I need to take one of my dogs out to do business.

And when I say "tough for me", I really mean "sometimes my wife wants to watch a movie on Saturday nights, and I let her".

I think I'll be able to make it, too. My challenger is breaking in now. I already have an RM Elise, but I don't remember how broken in it is, or if a did any upgrades. I should have time to get one ready either way. As long this sinus/allergy junk doesn't knock me out early, I'll be there.
