Any chance we can try running all three types of racing tyres tonight?

I think for tonight it would be best to run the settings as if it were a normal race. Also I like the difference in grip level between the soft and hard tires, though we can always revisit that. I also happen to remember at one point someone had brought up the idea of everyone starting on hard tires, switching to mediums during the first caution, and then to soft tires at the second caution for the remainder of the race. I would definitely be interested in trying that out, just not tonight. :)

I really hoped that I would have made it through the race tonight, but luck was not with my side. However, in the racing I did manage, I was extremely glad to see how close the cars were to each other! Sure driver skill plays a big role in lap times, but based on qualifying the 3 cars all seemed very close.

I want to here how everyone else who raced tonight feels after having tried this new idea, and if the response is what I predict it will be, I will allow this to be the first class open for choosing by the season winner. Of course they will still be able to go by the current car selection(where we each have the same car) if they choose to. :)

nice job @cmbeal317 on testing. the cars were all evenly matched. going into the final stint we were all together, separated at the end only by our own mistakes. as for the Alfa, it was great for 4 laps and then it would start to under steer on high speed corners but the awd on slower corners was good. the mercs looked like a hand full all the time and the Opel looked to get stronger as the race went on. nice win @dangerzone641 best racing I've seen in this series since we ran the Camaro with boost!

I would just like to apologize for my lack of knowledge during the 1st race caution last night. I must missed that in the rules, but other then that great racing guys

I'm sorry that I missed out on the testing. I just completed testing 30 cars within 2 classes for an up and coming series proposed for snail. As I participated last season and loved it, I will be here again for this season coming up if welcome. After all the testing and tuning for the other series I am willing and able to lend a hand if needed.

Sorry I missed the test session last night. If you all think the 90s DTM class would be fun let's go with that for next season.

Awesome! I'm so glad this is happening, I really think running multiple cars is going to bring some life back into the league. :D

Sounds good to me.

@cmbeal317 - Do you already have a track schedule or do we still need to do that?

Still need a track schedule, I'll have a post up shortly to remind the winners from last season. :)

I have another idea for a class, 90s rally cars, all with 295 hp and 1230 kg, I've tested all the cars and they're all even

I'll add that to the list of classes later today, as I'm going to make a large post where we'll have the details for each of the classes(cars, specs). :)

Thanks, I'll add that to the list.

The order in the post above is in order of where you placed last season. Once all the tracks have been decided, I'll shuffle them up and post the schedule. :)

I will pick it.

Thanks! :)

Thanks for the help finding all the cars. I'm pretty sure that the 96 Elise would be season as we've raced both of them. :)

I have a room open if anyone wants to test the DTM cars. I want to try each one to see what one I like best before choosing a car for this season. I might be away for extended periods but I will leave the room open.
