I hate to do this cmbeal, I'm going to run the opel calibra for this season. I picked the alpha in hast after testing the wrong track.This will be my car for the rest of this season.

This is going to be a good season.

Everyone keep in mind that since we are driving different cars we will have different braking points. The Mercedes is the lightest and the Opel is the heaviest so be aware of that when following behind.

Also be extra careful through the chicanes at Monza because it WILL ghost you every single time even if you barely cut it.

You need hards, softs, rain and inters. Check this post because you have to use the power limiter to get each one to spec.

Rain and inters aren't needed unless it is specified that we are racing with the possibility of rain.

Great racing to everyone. Sorry to Grimm for end up bumping you after the last caution, i should have left more braking distance. Got penalties, was hard to not getting them for the 3 second penalties. I should have done better, had fun always and sorry to see your internet cutting out Beal. Can tell all the DTM cars being raced in this season are evenly matched. I will be staying with the Opel throughout this season.

put me in 16th I didn't run the full race and I was still there after the race finished so it wouldn't be fair for the others so give me 16th place points

Friend of mine kept getting disconnected and he called them (charter). And he found out that his security was set to high. They lowered it a bit and he never had any trouble after that. Just a suggestion.

We've got Verizon Fios, and according to them the problem is interference with another router in our development(I count 18 networks including ours). I've tried a few things with the router to see if I could eliminate the problem, but no luck yet. I really hope to get it sorted out soon, as it's a major inconvenience even when I'm not racing. To add to that, it's happens completely randomly without any warning.

I was having such a great race, and thought I might even get on the podium. When that happened last night, I considered quitting from racing until the problem has been fixed.

@cmbeal317 - Are you wired or wireless from your router to the PS3? If your currently wireless, you might try being wired as that "should" help

I have the slowest network speed of anyone and yet discos seldom occur. For one, I am hard wired to the modem and no other network connections are made during GT game time. If you can run one Ethernet cable and unplug any switch between the PS3 and the ISP equipment (modem) then test or race online without discos then the problems is solved. But, if disco's still happen then you can call you ISP and ask to have your connection tested to 'their' equipment. Your ISP should check the downstream and upstream Max Attainable Bit Rates (MABR) against the User Current Bit Rate (UCBR) and verify that the streams are not over used, or what is called High Capacity. Good luck with you ISP. Go get cabled directly for now.

I was happy to finish. Between being assaulted by over ambitious friends, assaulting
my friends, and zipping `through ghosts I was never bored. But that was my fourth and fifth hour racing yesterday.. I really am old enough to know better...I only did 7.5 during le mans and of course that was split into 4 stints. But it WAS fun...great cars each with its own set of problems and solutions.

The 80's version of Monza is very challenging especially in the first turn and trying to not get the 3 second penalty from the tires going off the track just a tiny bit. Next week is Rome in reverse which should be alot more better.
