Wheel, pedals, shifter: $420 (got a pretty good deal for Aus, pedals and shifter were brand new)
Seat is a really good quality replica of a Bride
To make it super cheap you could get an old seat from a wrecking yard, but I love my seat, looks amazing in person.
All in all, definitely worth the late nights building (when I was meant to be studying) and the rig is really really sturdy, no wobble at all.
oh and you just reminded me, time to add in a shifter mount for my upcoming th8rs.

So while doing some of the NASCAR events in single player the other day, it got me thinking. Shouldn't Daytona be set at 70% power as well since it is normally a restrictor plate race? Makes the track flat out all the way around, but that could really provide a close, exciting finale! Just a thought.
