I came to the pits and right then it said last lap with the 00:00 on the counter, didn't let me change tires or re-fuel. I barely made it to the finish, not sure where i finished because of how screwed up the ending was. It did show me as ending 5th, i might have actually ended 6th or 7th if the results showed Adventuruss as the winner which congratulations to him. Didn't show Adventuruss as the winner on not just my screen, it was screwed up how it ended and i couldn't save the replay.

With timed races, I always plan on running an extra lap longer than what the time indicates especially on tracks where I wont be lapped

As someone explained to me there is a point in pit in, which is different for each track where the manual throttle is taken over by the pit system. Apparently if you are screwing around with the car such as spinning (I did that at Le Mans) or applying throttle perhaps.. it does one of two things..it slaps itself on the forehead and goes straight through not stopping at the pit...or the pit screen flashes and you stop at the pit and get whatever the system default is. So I was REALLY careful last night. Also remember the old Pit option was that if you did not get your selection done when the car finished pulling into the pit it gave you the default...now it WAITS for you to hit OK. NO OK NO GAS NO TIRES NO NOTHING.

I thought I'd drive on it a few times and then move on, but I've spent a considerable amount of time just hotlapping there since it was released.

I don't think SPEC will be running this week. A lot of us will be doing the practice races for the Le Mans race.

I've decided it would be best that we postpone the race tonight as a number of our drivers a participating in practice races for the GTPlanet 24 Heures du Mans. Also July 12 will be postponed, as that is when the 24 hour race is taking place.

Had lots of fun tonight. I messed up before my last pit stop because i entered the pits before entering the lane itself so i got a drive through penalty. Had to pit next stop. Congratulations to the winner and didn't think Nail would of ran out of gas.

Hello everyone! As you may, or may not, noticed that I haven't raced on Sat in a while and I think I owe it to cmbeal to say why. I started racing in this SPEC series from it's inception over two years ago. I always looked forward to racing every Sat night until, what for it, we started running these special events. It turned me off. I'm not saying that the special events are a bad thing, I'm saying having one is fine but having multiples during the season turned me off.

So I have an idea. Can't we run the full season with the car/tracks that are chosen and save the other events for after the season. After the season have a couple/few special races like last season and then start the new season with the new car/tracks and so on. I liked it better without the special events.
