Great racing tonight for the first race of the season. Sorry to Xrad and Thrash for spinning you out, that is why i did a track concession, ended up just tapping your right rear quarter panel. Congratulations to @THRASH on your win tonight.

i would like to say a couple things. A. its awesome to finally win a SPEC race ive been doing this series for a long time and it feels nice to win one! B. that being said i know its obvious the boost helped me win but in my opinion the boost was so nice not just because i won but in general we were all together for 90% of the race. Anyone could have won that race and the boost levels out the playing field for D1-D8 drivers. Another idea i thought of during the 60+ laps we ran tonight is what if we ran the race in the SNAIL club room instead of the Enduro club room. Maybe that would attract more people. I had a blast with the four guys running at the finish and wish beal was there too but the racing was action packed. Just trying to think of ways to bring more guys into the series thats all. Anyways great racing to everyone tonight and dont worry about it racing the boost makes up for mistakes and wrecks

Sounds like a good idea, maybe we could get more drivers if the room was set up in the Snail Spec series club room or more might start showing up in the enduro room next saturday.

There have been Saturdays prior to yesterday where I would have joined had it been setup in the main SNAIL club. I can almost guarantee you'll get more drivers with that approach.

Sorry I couldn't be there for the whole race, got disco'd but that might not have been such a bad thing as I really wasn't feeling all that great last night.
I'm willing to try running the room out of the main SNAIL club and see if it helps us gain more attendance. So with that lets try that out next week and hope for more people to join. I'll make sure to note the change when I make announcements in the main SNAIL thread as well.

Sorry guys for being absent this week, I've been doing a lot of planning for some trips I'll be taking this summer this week.
I would like to keep boost on, as it keeps the field together, I know it's not realistic but it's given me some more motivation to keep racing. I know some people might not like this, but I know that it is impossible to please everyone. I've always done this for fun, and not for competition. I love watching endurance racing, and I enjoy doing it with others via GT6 & Assetto Corsa.

Without boost on, it kept the field too far separated from each other. With boost on, it keeps the field more closer together and more fun as well.

So I just left northern delaware and I'm probably going to get to my house around 10-10:15 I'll update this post to see if I don't make it but you don't have to wait if you don't want to. I will be driving as fast as possible to get to southern delaware. thank god it's a small state!

Cancelled tonight due to lack of attendance. It was just me and Beal who showed up, KGF did show up then left. Don't understand the lack of interest in the series, it's to have fun like in the Monday Night Miata racing and Sunday night racing. Will try again next week but open up the room in the endurance room.

Last week was a ton of fun and I wish I had the spine to participate regularly. I think if more folks knew how much fun this was you wouldn't have attendance issues, or rather if you did have attendance issues it'd be the kind of problem you want to have - too many over too few.
