Oh- I just realized I may already be out of time for this- do we need to break in these cars to be allowed to race? There's no b-spec mode that I've seen, so we would have to do it manually? Is the break-in period the same (~200miles)?

So far as we've been able to determine, there is no break in required. Change the oil to get max pp and you're good to go.

Nope, just oil change.

Karts need engine rebuild, even if new.

Easier.

change the oil no break in any more on gt6

With everyone gearing up for the first official race on GT6, as well as the new additions coming into our ranks, I feel it is high time, and past time, to give everyone a little refresh on the procedure for entering you combo and number. It is super easy.
Step one: Follow this link
Step two: Fill out the form
Step three: Submit the form.
That's it, I bet it took longer to decide on a color combo then it will take to fill out this form.

Also, here's the link to the color list to make sure your choice has not been taken (took me a few lucky clicks to find the listing when I joined initially)

EDIT: Please list your SPECIFIC color name. A simple green or blue should be avoided, since there are many distinct shades and variations of a base color, this will allow for the selection and variation possible.

Rally I submitted a new one. Just a color change. I'm keeping the number.

Not a really huge deal, I just took a lot of time (probably too much time) to find a good combo that wasn't listed in the divisions I've been racing in for the last few months. Then today there's 2 posts saying that people that will be in the same division also wanting green. Sounds like you're going for a forest camo theme which isn't really close to mine anyway although the base colors (green/brownish) are the same so I don't think there will be any issue.

I don't mind hosting and directing, and I suppose I don't mind being GM; what else do I need to make sure is handled aside from the lobby, keeping score, and replays?

That's pretty much it, especially since directing and hosting responsibilities have been merged together for the time being. The only thing I would add to your list is a data specialist.

I will know here shortly... Getting ready to shift gears and make sure all of the ducks are at least in the same building!

EDIT: So far everything looks ready to go. (This is going to be fun!)

Also to reiterate what Dragon said: Take it easy tonight as there will most likely be several clams along the way. Draw up your favorite racing beverage and bear with any glitches or malfunctions. Everyone try to help the directors the best they can!

Hey Everyone,
We've added a few drivers in the past couple of weeks and there's a chance of some over-crowded rooms tonight. We're trying to decide whether or not we should add D4 back into the mix, but we don't want to do that unless absolutely necessary, especially in the middle of a season. So that we can get a better idea of our grid sizes tonight, please post whether or not you plan on racing tonight. It would also be nice if you can state your plans for the next two league nights as well (December 22 and December 29) since those are around Christmas and New Year and there may be a few of you out of town etc.

I plan to race.
