As a steward, I am tasked with watching replays from all different divisions. I have found one particular thing to be very annoying to have to listen to on almost every replay I watch. This annoying thing would be the use of horns at the start of the race and even during the race. Some drivers are worse offenders than others and when you have to watch a replay four or five or more times to get the various angles needed to make a review, the excessive horn use is out of control.

DISABLE YOUR HORNS. THEY ARE A DISTRACTION TO DRIVERS AROUND YOU AND THEY ANNOY THE STEWARDS (at least it annoys this steward)

I got that this morning too, should have mentioned that as well. Last one I needed was the Autobarmy(driving the length of all the Autobahns combined, trophy says 7903 miles, though it got it closer to 8000). First platinum trophy I've ever got too! I only managed to get 80% in GT5. Though I'll probably go back some day and try and get the rest. GT6 trophy wise is a cakewalk compared to GT5.

Congrats on your first plat! My only plats are Uncharted 2 and LittleBigPlanet. I might have to go for the GT6 plat too one of these days. That's probably a pipe dream considering the amount of timing I have for gaming these days, but at least it's more realistic than going for the GT5 plat.

I appreciate your effort there @Mirado_7 . Unfortunately, we won't be able to use those files as uploaded. The replay, as it comes from the PS3, must remain intact, to include the folder name those files are contained in, as is, for other PS3s to be able to copy it. You must use an archive tool, Windows 7 and 8 have a native archive tool built in, to "zip" up the entire folder. Then upload that zip file to the google store. If the folder name is changed in any way before zipping or after, the PS3 will see it as a broken replay file and won't allow it to be copied to the XMB.

To use the native archive tool in windows, right click the folder that contains the replay files, select the Send to option then Compressed (zipped) folder. It will compress the folder to a zip file which can then be uploaded to google, where others can download, extract and transfer to PS3.

If any of this is unclear please PM me.

Not sure. I just checked the open replays d7 folder and it's empty. I'm hitting the rack. Will work on this, if necessary, tomorrow.

Try not signing in to PSN before you launch the game. I don't exactly recall the sequence but I think on game launch it checked and confirmed an update, I clicked the Ok, signed in to PSN and update downloaded and installed first go.

I don't recall if the zip tool is native to XP. It might have been added in an update or service pack. For my XP machine, I've always used Winzip or WinRAR for compressing to archive. They used to have free versions of those. Don't know if they still do.

Alternatively you can goto their websites and download/use them for free. WinZip says that you only have x amount of days to use it for free, but, I have never actually had it stop working.

I just started doing data entry this week and wouldn't mind doing it for practice of importing more replays / entering info.

As for skins you download a drawing with layers from iRacing These have the outine as well a wire mesh. You can design and place anything on there.

I'm using GIMP. Lots use PS. I used to be some what proficient with PS. Now starting to get GIMP down well enough to do the simpler stuff I wanna do.

I'm not a big fan of Gimp. There is a free version of PS out there now. Adobe released it as a free download. It's an older version but its easier to use than Gimp.
