According to the nutters in the GT6 section, they are both the same word.

You can't modify the car in any way, so if your car has wings 'n things on it, you can't race. However, having a cat as your co-driver is debatable.
I would advise against having your dog as a copilot also. Thought it would help with weight distribution but his head on my arm hindered counter steering maneuvers. It was a good handicap for me racing in D4 though as I was only able to finish 3rd.

My four legged copilot usually waits until a difficult corner before she decides it's a good time to lick my face.

A real life sub 2:00 lap around Twin Ring. The Redbull sticks better than this car but the lines and acceleration points aren't far off.

I'll go one better than socalnatv. Why don't you try beating the 40 plus members here who have run more nights than you and don't have any penalties at all. Some of those guys have run 30, 40, or in one case, 89 nights without a penalty.

I can also tell you a little something about
promotion and relegation. It's not just about how fast you are. It's about your race craft. To be perfectly and brutally honest, you would not have been promoted this month if you were not part of a large shifting of drivers between two divisions. You will not be promoted to D1 until your race craft improves drastically. So, try and beat that please.
Double Burn!

To all Scorekeepers/Data Specialists.
@Adventuruss , @fizzer , @nmcp1 , @JWalker , @Schmiggz , @intoflatlines , @Daniel Pinho , @cmbeal317 , @Skills , @Handlebar , @ExoSphere64 , @goofytyler , @tevesh2 , @KTR5 , @Rockhound18 , @Kylar One , @jobyone

You may notice some changes in the director's document tonight when you go to enter scores. It will look a bit different from what most of you are used to seeing. These changes were made to prevent data from being entered in incorrect cells.

While keeping score tonight, please enter the total times for the first place finisher, from the in game results page, in the appropriate cell in the director's doc for each race.
TotalTime.PNG

This is requested because there seems to be a timing glitch in replays that is making it problematic to calculate the total time. Also, if you manage to record it, in the notes section, (scroll to the right, just past the votes column) feel free to enter the pole qualifying time, in the same row as the driver who won it.

Sorting the sheet consists of 3 clicks.
Click cell C7
On the top line menu click Data
On the drop down menu click Sort sheet by column C, Z → A .

Thank you for your time and attention.

Qualifying session time for each round are as follows;

Round 1 - 8 minutes
Round 2 - 6 minutes
Round 3 - 6 minutes

On another note, regarding Sunday's races, I have the laps and qualifying as follows;
  • Round 1 - 5 Laps, 8 minute qualifying session, Car - 242HP/416PP
  • Round 2 - 4 Laps, 6 minute qualifying session, Car - 377HP/518PP
  • Round 3 - 6 Laps, 6 minute qualifying session, Car - 258HP/736PP
If anyone has something different, let me know so I can adjust the Director's doc.

In the interest of being sure we finish before maintenance, should we be running 4 laps in the first race?

The fastest laps aren't doing much better than 2:25 from what I understand. So with a standing start factored in, 4 laps probably puts you right at 9:45-10:00. Running 5 laps would be more like 12:10-12:30. Maybe this has already been noted and I deserve a fish to the face? :dopey: (post 2 is what I usually look at for this info ;))

Just a reminder to anyone that was planning on taking part in the West Coast division tonight!

There will be no races tonight in the West Coast division.

Thanks PD. All will of course be forgiven if the update is good!

I'm only showing three signal bars on Joe_DiBens practice room it won't even let me in
I'm seeing full bars but when I try to get in I keep receiving a disconnected from server message...
I wanted to make sure it wasn't my connection so I joined some random rooms and didn't have any other issues.

Team S.N.A.I.L. Update
(Re-Post)

This is the latest info for key League night positions. As you can see, there are several roles that will need to be addressed before tomorrow. As always, all Team members should check the roster and make sure I have everyone in the proper place. Anyone else that would be interested in helping your division and the League should have a look as well. Any changes or additions. please PM me as soon as you can so I can make the appropriate changes. The West Coast division is not listed as they are not a part of the P & R process. Thank you all in advance! (Thanks for the tip off @Skills !!)

In D8

Attention all drivers. If you attempt to enter your assigned division and you are unable to do so because the room is full (this means you can see the room and there are 16 drivers in it). You will need to post here prior to start time so the host can be made aware that some shuffling of drivers may need to be done.

If you are trying to enter the room and get a room is full message and you can see that it is not, it means you didn't get your friend request taken car of in time. If you don't have your host on your friends list one hour before race time, you need to post here and tag your host(s). You will need to post here prior to start time so the host can be made aware that some shuffling of drivers may need to be done. Division hosts are not to shut down the room and restart it to accept a late friend request from a driver. With the pending server down time tonight, it is very important that we start on time.

If you are a division host, you need to be watching this thread and refreshing often leading up to race time. Once you see me post the all clear message, you are free to start the nights racing.

The division host/director should not try and move drivers around or wait for a driver who is trying to enter the room after the all clear message is posted. If there is room, you may enter late but you will miss the first race if you're not there for qualifying.

I can't believe my luck. I won two prizes from our generous sponsors. First a Granstand, and now this awesome ButtKicker Wireless Kit.

Fellas, let me tell you. If you don't have a ButtKicker now, it's like the difference between not having a steering wheel and pedals and just driving with a DS2. Granted my setup is still a dining room chair, but this ButtKicker is awesome. Feeling the engine rumble, jolting vibration when you bump a wall, or someone else, and the pavement changes and rumble strips come to life. Remember when you got a wheel for the first time? This is just like that, I've doubled the realness with the ButtKicker. Now that I know what it's like, I'd gladly buy a ButtKicker with my own money next time I need one.

Thank you so much to our sponsors, they make fantastic products.

Good luck racing tonight!
