yes, that's correct.

dabneyd, you get prize c, which means you also get to break the tie between round 1 and round 2 in the elimination vote. The round you vote for will have either the car or track replaced. The round you don't vote for will be left completely intact.

This can't possibly be right, since Round 1 and Round 2 are tied for the most votes, while Round 3 easily took the least votes.

The tie breaking vote chooses which will be completely eliminated. The round not voted for will lose only the car or track.

You're absolutely right! I was stuck in the mindset I had last week when we thought there was a tie between second and third most vote. Sorry for that huge error!

I'm assuming dadneyd's is aware that his vote for Round 2 means that it will be completed eliminated, not just partially eliminated (dadneyd, please let me know if this fact changes your vote). Again, sorry for posting the wrong information.

So what's the state of the vote on whether there's racing this coming Sunday?

Zer0 posted the announcement here.

No official S.N.A.I.L. racing this Sunday.

We'll see if we can cook up some other fun though :)

EDIT: Double Ninja

Keep in mind that next Sunday's races are officially cancelled due to Memorial Day weekend. So any S.N.A.I.L. Spectator Pass purchasers will probably be disappointed to see a completely empty D1 lounge.

Questions answered.

I was just wondering how many voted to race, to know if it makes sense for me to try to be home for something unofficial, if there's a chance I can make it.

^I'm at most 50% certain atm so it would be weird if I propose something and don't show up. But an F1 race @Spa would be fun ;)

In the official results there's a link to a detailed results spreadsheet. I think the vote tally is in there. Along with some other good tidbits :)

Nice, two weeks to get ready for a race. This may give me time to get some practice in. Little League is almost over so I have some weeknights free. The only commitment I have over the next two weeks is four nights of dirt trackin over the Memorial Day weekend.

Kinda gonna miss the ol Silvia, and the Fiat. We only got to frolic once together. It was great while it lasted, however, the Supra in Tskuba? Thats gonna be fun!!! And go kart racing? Who doesnt love that!?

Yeah, I can't wait for all the top drivers to be on the track at the same time. Seems like one or more of them either have an advanced-notice absence, are on hiatus, or still working their way up to D1.

On that note, I am now selling S.N.A.I.L. Spectator Passes for next week's D1 races. Just one dollar will allow you to join the D1 lounge next Sunday even if you're not on the D1 grid!

Look what I just got in the mail!!

(thanks Psycho! ;))

Great, so we're keeping the P.O.S. car. ...wonderful.

I mean, "Yeah!!" :yuck:

If you mean the Punto, it was replaced with a Toyota Supra 3.0 GT Turbo A '88.

Unless of course you feel it's also a P.O.S. or were you referring to the Ferrari? Enzo would like a word with you if that's the case.

EDIT: AP, that's my job :(

I think he's got the wrong date, though.

You're right. I contacted the ticketing agency and they've corrected the date.
