I know this is completely random but...WOOHOO 300 pages

crazy, huh? :boggled:

By the way, is there anything going on tonight ?

Yes there is, or at least there was. We just finished up! We always start at the same time every night, which is 10pm Eastern / 7pm Pacific, and we race for about two hours each night. Click here for the weekly calendar. There's also a link to it at the very top and the very bottom of our original post. Hope to see you more during the week rofajole!

Hey zer0, would it be possible to change the colour of the text in the section that mentions our weekly schedule? It's just that the blue link kind of gets lost amid the rest of the blue text :/

How about now?

As I mentioned in post above, there's also a link at the very top as well. Just look for S.N.A.I.L. Racing Series in the very first paragraph.

I have DMZ'd my PS3. Tonight's disconnect was definitely due to server maintenance. I'm just wondering how you guys managed to avoid it. There was a software update and everything. Everyone's talking about it right now.

Then you may need to DMZ your modem, as well.

Yeah. There was maintenance and an update, but as long as you stayed online it wasn't a problem…until you tried to leave and come back. I don't think that's what sent you into a disconnect, though, and it's definitely not your problem on Sundays.

The router I use doubles as the modem, so I'm not sure if that would work. My dad has been talking about perhaps just getting a better router as it is kind of a cheap one.

I'm not much of a photog, but here are 3 pics I took from D3.

There was a pretty healthy sized patch released last night. If you want to join tonight, you need to log in early to download and install the patch.

I also had to open up the ports the PSN uses to get around some connectivity issues I had early on and with another game. It makes no sense as my PS3 is in the DMZ there should be no need to open up those ports. But until I did I still had issues.

My guess, PD would use a server farm to manage all the connections it has to deal with. You just happened to be connected to one that was getting upgraded first.

If Friday night is still up for grabs, one suggestion would be to do a F1 fun night or something, no real need for a host, just join D whatever, and maybe have five or ten 5 lap races, whoever is in the room first picks the first track, second picks second track, and so on, that way you never know what course you will be racing next, and it keeps it fun, and if someone smashes into you, just stop and wait, could be fun, just a suggestion.

F1 spec race would be awesome! 👍

No tuning!

Yeah, lucky us who got in and stayed in before the update. I do wonder though why we were able to stay playing. Last few updates that went live I happened to be in a room, and would get disconnected. OD must have known it was Monday Mayhem and not messed with us.
On a "awesome setup note." How about this for the ultimate race rig.

To any new people who may want to pop in while we're doing our Monday night deal in the D3 room in the future, please note that Mondays are our night where anything goes and pinning your opposition against the wall is, not just expected, but almost demanded

It is not typical of how we race on Sundays so please don't think less of us :)
What he said. Sorry Sand if you dropped because of that (if so, should have spoke up in the room though, so we could have given you the rules, well, lack of) Monday Mayhem follows its name, mayhem and pandemonium are the name of the game on Mondays, all other days are nice and clean racing.

BTW. That patch. does it fix anything or waste our time downloading?

I'll take Prize A, thank you.

As I said last week, I almost picked a kart to run. So this week, guess what I'm picking?! :sly:

Gran Turismo - PDI Racing Kart 100 @ Autumn Ring Mini

With as many spins and crashes as there were on Sunday with the F430, I can't imagine that an F1 race would be clean, close, or fun racing.

F1s are easy to drive compared to the F430, just takes a bit of practice.

The Ferrari F430 is a very stable car, I find ti hard to believe that there were a lot of spins or crashes due to solo-driver error. If there were spins and crashes, then I would have to assume it was because the driver in question had help. The reason I picked the Ferrari F430 is because it was a nice fit tot he track (SPA) but also because the car is Very Stable and hard to make a mistake in.

For the win!!!

Autumn Ring Mini is one of my favorite Kart tracks, so much fun. This is going to be a blast!!!

I wandered into the room last night and was shocked at the driving styles I noticed. people ramming each other...one wonders how anyone could find enjoyment in such activities. I can't believe I allowed myself to enjoy the good fun all night long!

(the preceding message was in jest)

Seriously, the races were well fought out. Added colors would help initially determining team but after one race we pretty much know who to point and who to push. :D

I saw quite a few people who hit the outside of the track and went around. I blame that on lack of experience on Spa, but that might just be me.

I don't think it is optional. But, there are some bug fixes. Most of the patch is the new GTA related DLC. So most of the patch won't be unlocked for some time, yet.

Motegi will be a fun addition, but I don't understand why they want to hold everything back for so long.

I find F430 pretty loose on RH. Get a little early and too eagerly on the throttle and it could be hard to control. It also likes to go sideways in some corners @Spa, especially if one brakes too late.
P.S. I hate karts.

Pardon me for saying so, but this sounds more like your driving style rather than the car itself. The car is very stable, especially when you consider the power the car has.

Pardon me for saying so,
You're pardoned. If the car seems stable to you, I'd say you're not pushing hard enough. I'm not saying I have a problem driving it, I'm saying that I can see how someone (especially ds3 drivers) can have trouble driving it.

Thanks for claiming your prize and also making your selection at the same time!

ADR_BRONCO, you're up next. However, please keep in mind that there appears to be a tie between Round 1 and Round 2 in the elimination vote. Therefore, Prize C will also include the tie-breaking vote. Please factor that into the equation when choosing between Prize B and Price C.
