1986 VW GOLF Wolfsburg Edition. For a change, these are pics of the actual cars.

Spent way too much time and effort trying to make it look like a GTI. After a brief stint in the Miata I finally got what I always wanted.

Congrats, with this assignment, that already tells me you are quite fast and will be running against fast guys in D6. I'm still in D8 lol so there are whole lot of catch up for me to get to your level. Anyways, you will see my friend @Rockhound18 in D6 and he will give you some fierce competition I'm interested to hear your experience after this first race this Sunday especially against my good friend there. Have a good and fun race.

Thanks FSportIS. I really think the last GT Academy helped a lot in my development to this point. It forced me to use manual transmissions and put a crowbar in my wallet to purchase a driving wheel. I'll keep an eye out for your friend @Rockhound18 in D6. Hopefully we will see you there soon too.

Nope you wont be able to get on track as the room has prohibited tuning enabled. Only thing that you cna change but is highly frowned upon is brake bias.

Yes, all Sunday nights are official league nights until the end of December. Click out our 2014 Calendar for complete details. The dates listed in red do not have races that count towards the monthly championships, but they often have special events like @JLBowler's oval races a couple of weeks ago. 👍

It's still Thursday so:
The very first car I bought was a 1966 Envoy Epic, sold only in Canada by GM (modified Vauxhall Viva), it was truly Epic!
Mine was white but the same as this:

But I didn't seem to be able to get much action with this car, so in '79 I laid down a hard earned $3600 for a '76 Pontiac Lemans Sport Coupe, same as this but silver with a black Landau roof. Loved this car but a drunk hit me a couple of years later and it got wrote off.

1965 mustang 289. Green with black vinyl roof. Sweet. Wish I still had it. I may recoup 30k from the VA...if I do...there will be. 65 notch back in my driveway...even if it costs 30k. Sometimes it really is Better to leave well enough alone.

First car for me was a 95 Plymouth Neon. Cheap car to get me to and from school. It got written off by someone turning left while I was going through an intersection. Only pics I had of it were after the accident.

I moved on to an 02 Mazda Protege after that, which I put some work into. Started bone stock, and was a fun build while I had it.

BTW whoever is responsible, shouldn't we be putting in ages by birthday? I finally picked out a color (chrome gold in emulation of @Neovre, who may or may not be a professional racecar driver by now) and put in age 26, but that will change next week!

I will actually be able to get some seat time and join the D3 race this weekend! After I did my time trial, got put in a division, etc. I got swamped with a new job and prepping my car for SCCA Nationals so I kind of disappeared. Ready to finally race with SNAIL Sunday night!
