Being born and raised on Long Island, obviously this has always been my team. I went to Islanders camp for 4 winters and loved every minute of it. I wasn't much of a skater so I played goalie. This was the only sport I thought about during the winter. Fall we played street hockey to get ready for the season. We used to melt and bend the end of our sticks to get the shape for prime launch on our shots. I definitely didn't play goalie then, I'll tell you that. Those orange balls hurt with no pads. Windows were broken and some small animals were hurt​

I read the stuff @fzappa said to read and a light went off in my head!

I practiced what I read and wow, I was running with very fast guys, I saw them coming, gave just enoughe room for them then tucked in behind and was at one point able to get advantage on the next corner and negotiate that corner without contact but slowpoke got back bye! With ease and all I can say is READ WHAT FZAPPA posted!
Some people try to help you but maybe get frustrated and say "YOU JUST DON'T GET IT" and that's not help but when you read and understand the principle and go out and apply it, it is unbelievable!

I was just hoping someone would pick Brands. Being in D8 it's great practice going into the first turn. FORCES everyone to slow down and take it easy.

I was a goalie all my life too. Billy Smith was my hero.... Hence my racing number 31. I played dirty like him too. I miss it a lot. Too fargin old now, all the joints hurt and the lightning quick reflexes are now gone. Ah those were the days, eh?

Ok, so I'm doing the new time trial with the NISMO. No matter how many times I do it, I get the reward if I back out. Bronze, or Silver, I haven't got the Gold yet. Making a pile of money one lap at a time.

To top it off, we play each other tomorrow night. Predictions? I'm gonna go with 4-2 Canucks, Vrbata with the winner, but we'll get outshot badly (we don't seem to get tons of shots on goal anymore.....)

That was the most exciting empty net goal I've seen, lol. Didn't get the prediction of being outshot, but I'm ok with that. Vrbata didn't get the winner, but he had one anyways!
