Being of the aviation persuasion I belong to several military nets. Occasionally something really cool comes along. The link below is a 5 minute vid taken from the cockpit of the lead solo for the USAF Thunderbirds whose nom de guerre is "Deuce". Taken over the period of this year's show scedule it reminds one of how much fun it is to fly and how beautiful our world is.
A very pleasant five minutes with great music.

I've seen that show live with the last 3 air frames they used. The F4, T38 and the F16. So far as I can remember, it's been the same show all those years. That video puts the show in an entirely different level. Awesome. Thanks Nail. Now I get to dream about the ride I never had.

Current fast lap is 1:18.902 by #20 Porsche Team. This puts @Nail-27 in the temporary winners seat.

Fast lap is changing almost each lap at this point. Current "winner" is listed at the bottom.

Hello all! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! Just wanted to let ya know after the first of the year I plan on contacting JLBowler and become an active driver again. My work schedule has gotten moved around a bit which is why I became inactive. I was hoping to maybe become an active member again sooner but with the peak season now upon us at Amazon I thought it might be best to wait.

Anyways I hope you all have a great holiday season and hope to be racing with a lot of you again in January.
 
Thinking you may want to do that a little differently. So far as I can tell, you're still an active driver and have been moved to D2 for the December season. Your invite to the club has been pending, and waiting for you to use it, since last Sunday. Sorry. That isn't correct. Your listed PSNID was sent an invite and it failed. You may want to check what you submitted originally to SNAIL and send a GT6 Community message to the club account from your account.

You might want to follow the instructions in the section your name appears here.

Last time I checked I was doing good in d1. On the unrelated side, there is no invite for any club that I see except Rcs and enduro. So I have no idea what you're saying whiskey. Try again.

I'll give d2 a shot but if it's unfair I need to be moved back.

Your invite send was successful. Click the Club title, or little blue curved arrow in the GT6 game interface, and the Join Club button should work now.

There are many VERY GOOD fighter pilots who line up for a seat in the Thunderbirds. However....a past Thunderbird lead said to a room full of finalists...."gentlemen...hanging on the wing of your leader with a full load of bombs in weather so thick all you can see is his wing tip light...that is skill beyond mere acrobatic blue sky flying. Do not be discouraged if you are not picked, you are already in the top of the top. Well done"

They are not mere mortals....they are all PC , trim, good looking, public speakers....who happen to be absolutely superbe jocks. They are the poster children of USAF...just like the "BLUES" are for that other service.

Likewise, I was going pretty well in D2 as it stood but find myself relegated, along with others, after the recent shake up. Clearly there has been a large number of very quick guys rejoining and D2 looks very strong as it stands now so I have no complaints.

Promotion and relegation is an integral part of how the league works so we'll just have to produce strong enough results to push for promotion back to where we came from. Good luck to everyone for the season ahead. 👍

We had an influx of drivers to D1, both returning and new, and had to balance the divisions back out. Many factors come in to play when JLBowler does P&R. Your performance is only one of those factors.

The driver's list is updated with last minute time trials and is ready to go for tonight.

If you are a new driver there are steps that you must complete in your placement conversation entitled "SNAIL Racing" before you can be added to the club in GT6. DO NOT leave this until the last minute as the guys that can add you to the club also have other things to do leading up to race time.

As for those with questions about promotion and relegation. It really should be called promotion, relegation, and division leveling. As Dragonwhisky said, there were 4 new and returning GT Academy finalist type drivers that have rejoined for this month. This created an overflow in D1 which was already heavy on drivers when compared to D2.

When all the movement was done there were six drivers that moved from D1 to D2. This filled D2 to beyond capacity and 5 drivers were moved from D2 to D3 which along with the two drivers moved up from D4 overfilled D3 so 2 drivers had to move from D3 to D4 which pushed 2 drivers down to D5 which was already overflowing in a style similar to D1 which caused the whole process to start over between D5, D6, and D7.

In total 26 drivers were relegated this month and most of them were moved in the name of division leveling. Only 9 drivers were promoted this month and they were all drivers that separated themselves from the rest of their division.
