Grand Valley Speedway and Grand Valley East.

I thought it was announced as "Grand Valley Forward"... I had been practicing on East when it occurred to me that I should check. Sometimes I do not pay attention enough. My apologies.

My poor little baby boy Alex...
My laser eye burned down again. The last time it happened it took 3 weeks until I got my PS back.
Thank god my baby boy has a ps3 too so guess how daddy will continue racing...
:scared:
You can get laser for about $37 on ebay. I've had to put 2 in my old ps3.

Man.. the thread moves at hyper speed sometimes. 6 pages in less than 48 hours.

Here were I was yesterday... do not click unless want photographic Shock.

on a side note. We rented a Hyundai Sonata that actually impressed me (not enough to buy one) but for a 2 day rental, nice comfy ride, good power, good gas mileage and electronic gadgets. I wish I could rent a Genesis somewhere.

You should have stopped by! Nice to see you have the same skills for actual photography as you do for GT photography. 👍

You can take you ps3 to MTC in Whitby and exchange it on the spot for a refurbished model for about $85.

I am hosting a 2 hour endurance in beal's room as public. The room number is 1472-4711-0038-4892-7328

You can either race in the Gazoo Racing Toyota 86 #166 '12 or the 86 Race Car Base Model '12. Both are at 410PP and 208HP after oil change. Will have day/night transition at Circuit de la Sarthe 2013 with Chicanes.

What are the race specs (rules) ?

Cautions are at 40 and 80 minutes, clean driving, day/night transition and 10 full laps on racing hard and 10 full laps on racing softs.

I won't be there, but I recomend you 5 on RH and 5 on RS, because you're probably not going to do 20 laps in that car, in 2 hours

Any advice on how to beat Nurburgring survival race in seasonal events.
Can't get past lap five without constantly spinning out in the rain.

I don't know if what @Nail-27 suggested worked, but I used the Toyota 2J '70 detuned to 600 PP with Intermediate tires. I pitted at lap 6 and didn't lose the lead. Won by 45 seconds. I didn't have any rain the last 4 laps, so if I had used RS tires, it would have been over a minute lead.

EDIT:
I turned the racing line on, because the 2J doesn't have headlights :)

I used the HSV and started on intermediates, pitted on lap 7 and ran the last three on racing soft. Had to be careful on the out lap if you get off line but made the pass for the lead on lap 9 and kept driving away. No tuning needed.

Thanks everyone for all the great suggestions.
I actually got fed up trying to beat it but now feel I got plenty of ammunition to give it another go.

It's nice to know besides all the other subjects that pop up sometimes this forum is here to discuss what it was actually meant for.👍

Hey everyone!!! I thought you guys might enjoy a couple of pictures of my 1970 Camaro.
I just realized while I was storing it for the winter that I've owned this car for thirty years now. I bought it when I was 21 yrs old...you guys do the math...lol.
The car is 95% stock original except for a HEI ignition update and fresh paint about 15 yrs ago.
My wife says she thinks I love this car more than her sometimes and my kids got dibs on who gets it when I croak...I plan to make them suffer as long as possible.

Anyway there sure are a lot of memories here...I hope guys enjoy or at least the Chevy fans!!!

Thanks for sharing! The Freedom Tower looks amazing. I watched a documentary on it's construction and it's amazing (and also understandable) how much precaution went into it's construction. Back in 2002, I flew to NYC for the 1-year anniversary of 9/11. I was able to climb the fire escape of one of the buildings directly next to ground zero to observe the ceremonies. There was a foreign language news crew up there too, but they could tell I was trying to stay out of there way so they let me stay up there with them.
