Yes, I have a playlist for racing.Just to lighten things up a little bit, here's a question for you fellow SNAILs, do you use custom music when playing GT6? If, so, what do you listen to?
I have 2 playlists, one for menus and other for races, in races I usually listen a mix of rock and metal classics with some retro-electronic like Perturbator or Kavinsky and the occasional Bach, or Mahler....
Huh?D-D-D-Djent-Djent...Djent-Djent-D-D-D-D
Huh?
I think chimp spanner is a musical group... just looked it upon Youtube. At first I thought it was just another name for a monkey wrench
By the Time Labour-day 2009 rolled around my best Lap time was 1:18.277 on Falken Azenis 615's....but I think it was because Stu Mcrea had used traction compound in turns 9a and 9b........If you may know Stu?Oh ya baby, the "Rollercoaster at Shubie" aka AMP ! Raced there a few times over the years (motorcycles). One of my favorite tracks ever, just glad I never crashed there!
May I suggest:
Ford GT '05 @ Monza
I'm guessing you haven't driven this car on racing hard tires?
yeah I bought my 350z nismo in December it one of my dream carsLooks like we have another 350z fan in the house. Welcome. I too enjoy my 350z. You can see how much via the links in my signature
Tested on Sports SoftI'm guessing you haven't driven this car on racing hard tires?
I choose the Ford GT '05 at Monza. It will be on race hard tires, post oil change PP/HP is 578/577 and I think mid divison times will be around 1:51-1:52.@aLmk This is what you have to choose from. One suggestion was disallowed due to the driver making multiple suggestions and not cleaning up those posts as requested. Please announce your selection here no later than 9:30 PM ET on Wednesday.
@A7XMaverick also has until 9:30 PM ET on Wednesday to pick a track for the LFA.
Maverick...I think you should use a lesser tire.....just at the rears maybe......handicapping is legal is some series isn't it? (intended to flatter)

I was just referencing the handling issues when this car is on racing tires instead of sports.Tested on Sports Soft

Maverick makes a great point... After doing a few laps on SS, the car is much more predictable in terms of handling, and he said, "drives as it should." Is it at all possible we use this car on Sport Softs instead of Race Hards? I think it will greatly improve the racing, especially in the mid to lower divisions (5-8).I was just referencing the handling issues when this car is on racing tires instead of sports.
You can always use a "lower grade" tire. Like run SM on the TVR rather than the SS.Maverick makes a great point... Because the soft compound grips better then the hard compounds. I've done it with a few time trials where I had sports softs on the back and racing hards on the frontHow is it possible to feel better with less grip?
You'll see when you drive it.How is it possible to feel better with less grip?
Hey guys. I'm baaaacckk!!!. I missed everyone it's been too long but I needed to take much needed time off to focus on my career and well I have returned with some new vigor in my heart and great news to give. As such my fellow snails I hope I receive a warm welcome back. I'll see you guys on track in a couple of days until then God bless

Just go test the car on the two different compounds, I think you'll quickly see what I'm getting at.How is it possible to feel better with less grip?

All drivers in D6 are asked to pick a Prize A car/track combo for next Sunday. Deadline is 9pm ET Tonight. I already made my choice for car/track combo.
That was 2100EST yesterdayI'll try and get online and do some testing. Not sure if I will be able to though. If not, whatever is picked is what it is. I just wing it.
