I'll pop on after the NHL awards are through... So far the flames are 1/1 in awards with Bob Hartley winning the Jack Adams trophy.

Hey @Falango .... I was fooling around with banner ideas for the weekend you said you'd be off and this is what I came up with. I didn't want to steal your style so I tried something different. Any comments by anyone welcome!!!

Of course we don't have to use any of this stuff...I was just farting around anyway...that's what us old farts do sometimes. :P

the shifter's on eiger are so cool! When I won prize A I really wanted to do it except the fact we have to use the stupid one make setting.

Karts in P Cars were difficult at first, but now that I'm using a higher ratio steering rack, they are a ton of fun! Some of the tracks are really tough, with tight corners over crests and bumps. I had tons of fun pushing a kart to the limit with a few slides in corners. P Cars karts are far more fun than GT6 karts.

Cool idea, nice and simple! The one thing that confuses the image is the manufacturer logo is beside the track name. It would make more sense to keep it near the name of the car.

I'll get Pcars when either PS4 drops it's price this Christmas and or they support the g27 so I don't have to buy a T500!

as for karts in gt6 I like them but I want my colours!

I like how he has the logo beside the track name it kind of implies the car at the track!

I've been doing well in my division and even came in 1st two weeks ago but we didn't have enough people for a prize. It's bound to happen sooner than later.

I've thought the same thing... keep thinking, cause someday... I'll get a prize - and you can, too. ;)

On the downside/upside of a DE Wannabee - I failed Tech (bearings - I knew were coming soon; torsion bar - thought was OK for a few weeks; steering wheel - I had part on order from Pelican parts for next week), but after Watkins Glen, clearly safety repairs were needed before I leave tomorrow. Good: Repairs being made, car safer, and I should make it to NJMP for Friday am.

With the G29 coming, don't expect support for the G27. Get it on PC like all the cool kids :D
Yeah but if I'm going to buy a new wheel I'm going to go with the one everyone is supporting. Not a hope and guess wheel like the logitechs( Are they going to be supported on the next gen system? Is logitech going to drop out... again)

Plus my computer is out dated to buy a new one would more expensive then just buy a ps4 and wheel

No wheel that you can buy now is going to be guaranteed to work on the PS5 or any future console. Just like the G27 was never advertised to be compatible with the PS4. Technology moves forward and companies make new products. Once those new products are in the market, those companies tend to stop doing things to make the old equipment work with new technology.

True but I still don't want to give logitech more of my money hoping they get supported on the ps5 and from what I understand from the thread the t500 is better then the g27. Wish I had of known then what I know now cause I would have gotten the 500 instead way back when!

With the g29 being release I firmly believe the g27 and other old wheels will never be ps4 compatible. I'm going to stick with consoles(ps4) and since g29 is no upgrade from a g27, I'm not paying the dollars to them. I'm getting the t300rs with my g27 pedals. Hopefully pretteh soon.;)

I think I like the idea of the brushless motors in the 300 vs the brushed in the 5.

Anybody know or have any comparison on the two?

I want the pedal set of the t500 but then again I guess I could just buy the pedals extra!

Yes opinions would be nice

How are the pedals for the T300RS? I'd be buying a whole set as I don't have G27 pedals.
If you've never used the g27 then I'm sure the pedals are fine. It's just a step down from the g27s. For us with the pedals already it's just an after market cord to make it all work together .

This looks awesome! It says in the first page to post here if you want to join?! How do I do it!

@Ryan Lynch

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @Dragonwhisky, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Awesome! I'll get into familiarizing myself..

I only have a DFGT so yea I've never used a G27. I'm sure they're an upgrade from the DFGT but I'm curious how they feel.

Coming from an RC background...

I cannot speak of experience between the two sim wheels, but I think anybody who understands the mechanical difference in how the two types of motors work can clearly see the advantage. Brushless motors are simply more reliable and longer lasting. Since there are no "contacts" there is no wear, no "burn", less overall friction/heat/resistance since there are no brushes or commutators; then to top all that off they operate smoother as a result. Brushless motors are a HUGE step up in the sim game and I wouldn't invest five bucks on a wheel without.

Hey everybody, Happy hump day !

As some of you may know, I'm taking on the responsibility of keeping the drivers number/color document as current as possible.

It will take a little time to get the spreadsheet straightened out and to be current but don't let that stop you from making any changes that need to be made.

Please avoid having similar colored cars racing in your division on Sunday. Many of us do not run with names listed over cars or even have the drivers list on the right side of the screen. Having unique color schemes will help in identifying who is who on track. Also having everyone in different colored vehicles makes pictures much more enjoyable to view:D

There has been a lot of driver movement from division to division and also a large number of new members. Please take the time to review the process and update your preferences by clicking on the link in my signature.

Cheers!
