I'd like to announce yet another exciting partnership with our friends at ButtKicker, the world's foremost brand of low frequency audio transducers! The ButtKicker Challenge IV will span our December and January seasons, and at the end of these two short months we'll enter the finalists into a random drawing. The winner of the random drawing will win a ButtKicker Gamer2!!

The ButtKicker Gamer2 features an all-new, rock-solid digital power amplifier that cranks 90 watts into your sim racing rig or seat. This convection cooled (fanless) amplifier includes a wired remote control and a base stand for vertical placement. Feel the gut-wrenching punch of a crash, the pounding of fenders, racing engines, backfires, gear shifts, rumble strips, screeching tires, engine throttle and more. Turn down or turn off your subwoofer and still feel all the bass - even while using headphones. Take your sim racing experience to the next level of realism with the ButtKicker Gamer2!!

Rules for the ButtKicker Challenge IV:

    • One ButtKicker point will be awarded for each Sunday night race that a drivers competes in
    • Drivers who are not on the starting grid for any reason (network issues, being late, etc) will not receive a ButtKicker point
    • Any driver that is imposed a penalty by the stewards will also be docked an equal amount of ButtKicker points
    • The more ButtKicker points a driver has earned, the better odds he will have at winning the random prize drawing
    • ButtKicker points will be docked for inappropriate behavior in the lounge or on the thread (e.g. posting a public racing complaint instead of filing an incident report)
    • This prize will not be shipped outside the United States or Canada

I agree it would have been a long shot, ( a really long long shot) But anything could happen, Just look at the Patriots winning the super bowl last year.

Since the November season is over, how will the contest run over November and December? Retroactively?

Okay here it is, my first attempt at a permanent racing rig. All pimped out and up and running. I think it turned out pretty good. The wheel and brake pedal supports both tilt up and down as well as move in and out, plus the seat as well, so I pretty much get full adjustability.
I not sure if it's gonna make me any faster but it should feel more immersive.

Very nice Paddy, good job. You can get rid of the seat belt connectors with one bolt. Now a 60 inch tv and you are all set.

Love that rig, Paddy. Great use of a Civic seat (that's a SI seat, right?).

I'm putting the finishing touches on my plan, construction to commence as soon as end of year festivities are done, will send pics when done.

Great rig Paddy. I'll bet you do get faster. As for immersive, that's what it's all about in my book. Very cool details, love the reflectors, plate, pin striping, decals, etc. Be proud of your new piece of furniture, and be grateful your wife allows it. I asked for forgiveness rather than permission.

Is there a posting of results for the Time Trial we had to complete on Laguna Seca?

No. The reason for this is that the time trial is the only piece of data we have to work with to place new drivers. If all those times were posted for public viewing, any new driver would be able to see what kind of time would put them in which division and would be able to manipulate their time trial to be placed in a division that would not be in line with their skill set.

@zer05ive
here I am once again saying a Hugh thanks' to SNAIL racer's that closed their room, opened a new room and changed their room settings so I could join and race just for the fun of it and it was a really great time!

I sent a message out to some friends asking to be allowed to join and got many positive response's
Only one reply was very saddening and that one, was more painful than being banned!
I wont mention names cause the great people of this world just KNOW who they are!

For changing up your room settings in order that I could join and race with you, speaks volumes!
Guy's I thank You!
