DesertChicken, why aren't you racing PCars? I miss lapping you. How many feet can you fit in your mouth? I find the smaller slower cars makes for better racing, especially in Spec racing and even though it's not a "real" track, who cares. They are still fun. Do you like Midway? Fake but fun.

I *wish* we allowed snow or dirt, but since we don't, that does limit the driving acumen to only optimal conditions (aka Lewis H Rules), just like "real" racing. See Bernie, or cronies, for allowable exceptions. The weather is always perfect.

No... I didn't change to the appropriate tire. That was on the stock Softs. I could only manage a 52.0 on the medium tires. Mr. Mang pulled off a sweet legit 50.7 though! 👍👍

It isn't true. Yesterday was the 5th highest this SNAIL Year. Last time we got close to this daily post count was back in April.

I'm a bit disappointed in a few folks who chose to post pictures that violate the GTPlanet AUP. 6th point down folks. That includes pictures. @Jakedog23 , @Adramike , @singlepaddy. I'm a little surprised a GTP mod didn't jump on youse guys. I know in other threads those pics would not fly at all, and they shouldn't here either. I really think ya'll should take a little time and fix your posts so they adhere to the AUP.

Yeah I kept getting booted out of psn as well. Was hoping to get in some decent practice before our "official" practice night since I'm not familiar with rifelsee. I don't want to be that guy who overshoots every turn tonight and causes mayhem due to lack of xp.

About tonight's practice, I'm not going to bother opening a second lobby. Last week I joined the room when it was 15/16, and I let everyone know in the lobby and in the thread that I would open a second lobby after R1. I did, and only @singlepaddy came over. We waited for 25 minutes and finally said to hell with it and rejoined @racingchamp lobby. We need a better system to accommodate when there's more than 16 participants on Thursday night. Personally if I went to join a lobby and saw one with 14/16 and the other 2/16, I would naturally join the 14/16 one. And that's probably what happened, and people don't want to leave a full lobby just to join an empty one. So to the guys that show up late and are locked out of a full lobby, I apologize. Hopefully we can figure something out

I say we just stick with what works. If one room is full, the settings are readily available here on the forums and anyone can open a second lobby. First come, first serve. Don't like it? Show up earlier or just open a second room right at 9pm and let people choose on who they want to host for the night.

IMO people should voluntarily leave to go to a second room. practice night is a big opportunity for more than just practice it's also a great way to get new members. if the practice room is always full then people wanting to see what it's about loose then we lose potential members.

we seasoned snail members should be more then willing to divide knowing that when membership grows the fun grows with it!
