@SAMHAIN85
Wow. Very funny :lol:. Got several laugh bursts out of that post over lunch. Just what I needed after a busy work morning. I especially like the track Complex String. Must be on the the latest DLC that I haven’t perused :lol:. Lap times may be over 12 minutes with that car :D.

My non-virtual race season starts on Saturday. Today, I'm flying to Daytona for Saturday's 14-hour race with ChampCar. They do live streaming at their YouTube channel. I'll be teaming up with my oldest brother, Uncle, Cousin and a friend. We'll be in a red 1989 Mazda RX-7, with a 3.8L V6 from a Camaro, #485. Live timing can be found at Race-Monitor.

Here is me from 2016 when I was there last.

Subsequently, I'll be away from the message board even more than normal. Hopefully if anyone needs access to the scoring or data sheets, one of the other BoD members will assist.

With the new update and our increased credit cap to $1million, I started thinking about something. The Green Hell/Nordschliefe has always been banned in SNAIL because of its length. With our larger selection of cars now (The F1 and RedBull Jr come to mind) would it be possible to start using that track?

I searched the thread and found a lengthy discussion about it almost 3 years ago.

You either love it or hate it. But I would absolutely love flying around the ring on a Sunday night with you guys.

For reference this guy laps it in 5:31 with the F1500. The question is what will a mid division lap time be. Maybe after our practice session ends tonight some of you will be up for a race on it since we're already using the F1500 this week.

One of the main elements that might have made the track possible was the final corner start for qualifying. That is no longer an option unless everyone manually drives around the track and waits to start. Either way, we would be looking at an extra long qualifying session (out lap or drive around lap and one hot lap) followed by a one lap race with most cars or a two lap race with a handful of cars.

Don't really need a shifter but Walmart has the TH8A on for $45. Just ordered one.

If you're in Canada, you may want to grab one. They are 199 everywhere else.

Yeah the qualifying would be pretty time consuming. Maybe if we ever get proper qualifying in an update we can at least bring it up again for discussion.

Camaro v6 in a fc? That is a interesting combo

(Unofficial) Practice lobby open. I’m planning on short races (3 laps) up until official practice starts.

Anyone else have issues hearing the engine in the F-1000T? I raised all volumes and lowered opponent engines and it barely made a difference.
