All replays must be shared in game and be "tagged" under search tag #1 using the following naming convention: YYYYMMDDdxrxrx To break that down YYYY = year of race, MM = month of race, DD = date of race, dx = division#, rx = round#, rx = race#. An example of this would be 20171203d1r3r2 = 2017 Dec. 3 Division 1, Round 3, Race 2.

Can you guys take this into a private conversation?
Conversation is over from this end. Thought about taking it private, but felt clarification to all who might have interest but apprehension for the same reason was necessary. I always welcome new drivers for our SNAIL Friday Night Racing, but some specifics required to race with us and felt needed to be clarified. Apologies for the disruption.

And that freedom is there to make it however you choose. The only requirements are that the decals noted must be on the car in their required locations for uniformity within the series, and that if you choose to participate in a team effort for the series, the team name of your team's choosing must be displayed on the front and both sides of the car. Otherwise, you can choose whatever design, graphics, primary/2nd/3rd...I dont care how many sponsors. The creative freedom is then open to you. All I ask, is the decals required be applied and in the correct locations on the car. Ask @Phlano099 , @Nyati_Jumapil , @DublDee or any others what restrictions I've placed on liveries or how many you choose to run during the series. I personally have run a different livery every race this season of our Porsche series. See this profile link and see my livery and alternates I've rendered as well as others that have multiple options.
Again, they just need to have the series required decals applied. Only thing I review when a new or alternate livery is submitted is that those required decals are present, placed correctly, and that classing color details are set correctly. Otherwise, the canvas is all yours.....and you have a month between races to create and render your art. Simply let me know when finished and submitted which one you plan to race so that I can keep the series driver profile page and Spotters Guide up to date.
Sorry I just wanted to chime in quickly…I personally have never experienced the close, clean racing that these series of @llNovall provide, even on Sundays. Also the fact that even if you’re not one of the “Snailiens” you can be in the fight for the series championship as long as you practice and can be consistent.
As for the livery deal breaker……WHAT?? Really. I run several different liveries in the Porsche series and working on a few for the new American series, here’s a couple of my Porsche liveries…quite different, but still conforms to the livery requirements.

This is the most fun I’ve had on GT7, and don’t get me wrong I still like my Sunday combo racing, but these series’ are intense and rewarding!
Oh yeah I haven’t even mentioned the work @llNovall puts into these….pre race driver meetings, post race reviews of incidents, and video broadcasts of all the races.
Anyway that’s me “quick” chime, Lol.
And each to their own, but you don’t know what you’re missing

I'm glad you didn't go PM with the discussion as I learned something about your series from it.

Hosts should start on time tonight. The only reason to delay start is to allow a driver already in the lobby their 3 minutes to sort out connection issues

Here goes my usual post on monday.

  6. Stinkysalamisub --- voted to eliminate Round 3
  7. Cdn_Sweet_Tee ----- voted to eliminate Round 1 - Prize C
  8. cesarr64 ---------- voted to eliminate Round 3
  9. Tex_Hill ---------- did not submit a vote
  10. Skills_19657 ------ did not submit a vote
  11. CrashinChris ------ did not submit a vote
The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR GSR '06 (SM) at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya No Chicane - S02 Evening (7 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Chiochansan wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) '09 (SS) at Autodrome Lago Maggiore - S03 Afternoon (7 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @A_Higher_Place gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @CdnSweetTee so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

Looks like a tie in votes, how does the tie-breaker work? Shouldn't round 3 have received the most elimination votes after the tie-breaker?

Vehicles eligible for selection for Sunday night racing are as follows:

Any vehicle that is sold in Brand Central, the UCD, or the LCD and costs 2,000,000 Cr. or less according to the SNAIL car list (linked below).
Any vehicle that is awarded in the menu books within the game as the only prize car available.

What if the car has gone up in value from the car list? If it is now over 2 million is it disqualified or allowed?
