Any chance your wheel FFB is experiencing some fade from overheating?
Doubt that as would expect the fan to come on before then. But it's something to listen for.

I run my settings lower than most. In game at 4 / 9 and have set up different profiles on the wheel to lower the force even more! Sort of like having it at 4/9, 3.7/9, 3.5/9 and 3.2/9. Then I just change profiles for different cars.

This may have already been mentioned, but here goes anyway. I ran some practice laps for the first time after the update dropped, and my initial response was "oh crap, they nerfed the force feedback". At that moment, I was driving the Alfa 4c, and there was very little if any resistance to my steering inputs. I then switched to the Nissan GT-R, and the resistance returned.

So here's my take. I think PD has finally isolated the steering response/feel for each car type. The steering on the Alfa is representative of a car with power steering which means less force feedback/resistance, while the Nissan GT-R being a race car gets the full monty. This should make the sim more immersive and keep the cars from feeling all the same.

BTW, I drive with a Fanatec GT DD Pro

Just curious bro....I noticed they are split 17 in D1 and 20 in D2 but lobby limit is 16, what are we gonna do if everyone shows up?
Here you go, bro

In the event that any division reaches capacity on a Sunday night, full time active drivers will have priority over any other classification of driver for filling spots on the grid during Sunday night races. Part time active drivers will be listed in order of priority for racing on Sunday night. The drivers list is also the priority list from top to bottom.

I was asking yesterday but didn't get an answer. My account has a temporary suspension. Can I race under a different account for this weekend?
Smoove_Cuda replaced with IRL-SmooveCuda

No need to replace the name, just that the new account is me.

@JLBowler
As a scorekeeper, I would like to know the answer to this question. Don't recall this issue ever coming up in the past, but suppose it would fall under the the same rules as a driver who changes their PSN account name. The current rule is your name must match exactly what is on the score sheet in order to race (this is why nick names suck so bad).

A friendly reminder...

Sunday Pre-race Network/PS/GT7 Maintenance

1) Clear GT7 Network Cache
2) Close game and shutdown PS
3) Turn off/disconnect all devices using home network
4) Power down router
5) Restart Modem
6) After modem has finished restart, power up router.
7) After router restart complete, power up PS
8) Run PS network connection test, if test normal next step, if not begin from step 1
9) Launch GT7
10) Go to Sport Mode and run connection test there, if normal go to multiplayer and find and join lobby. If not normal go back to step 1

To clarify more specifically, there are double yellow lines around most of the oval sections, that is track boundary there. Wherever there isn't those double yellow lines the white line is the boundary. Where there are curbs, as at the bus stop chicane,

where the curb is, it is the boundary, where the curb isn't and the white line is, there is the boundary. More than 2 wheels outside the boundary is cause for an incident report and points taken away.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Alfa Romeo 4C '14 (SM) at Grand Valley South - S01 Afternoon (12 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @DublDee wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Nissan GT-R NISMO GT500 '16 (RM) at Daytona International Speedway - Road Course - S09 Night (9 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @TexHill gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @yuhboiari so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.
