Everyone who raced D1 and D2 last Sunday, please recommend a car for us to use at Spa. Deadline 10am tomorrow. I'll test in the morning and make a decision before EOD tomorrow.
Lexus LFA '10 SS Tires.
Mid div lap time: 2:35.

Last time we raced it was back in the vacuum cleaner sound era of PD but now in GT7 it sounds glorious which is how it sounds in real life.

Niagara's Weekly "What I Saw" column.
241103 Edition:

8 drivers took to the grid in D1 and 6 drivers took the grid in D2 this past Sunday.

@racingchamp30 - Welcome back to D1, was fun racing with you again.
@JamCar0ne - I also very much enjoyed your combo. As somebody that invests about an hour into my liveries, it was fun working with a much different canvas that the Charger offered.

On that note, and not to beat a dead horse but voted Combo 1 out only because I know that under the current rules, a car from the UCD or LCD will always be a "One-N-Done". I'm a big fan of low car turnover from week to week. I would have loved to try the Charger on a different track. I think most of the active drivers on the Snail roster would agree with me and would prefer to have these rules modified.

Combo #1:
Again, thanks to @JamCar0ne for stepping outside the box for this one. I picked this picture for the group shot because the background might as well be my hometown of Welland, Ontario. The building in the top right corner reminds me of the buildings that used to make up the Atlas Steel property from my youth.

@Nicktune leading @Worst_Driver , myself and @Xradkins early in C1R1.

We lapped Tsukuba 30 times over the two races. I bet I was either 1.5 seconds ahead or 1.5 seconds behind @Xradkins for 22 of them.

One more group shot to highlight @Kgffy 's barn-find livery.

Combo #2:
Week #2 for the Mustang and I enjoyed it at Laguna Seca. I'm happy to do it again next week.

@Xradkins was leading the field early in C2R1 but got it wrong at the corkscrew on this occasion. Several cars had mishaps at the corkscrew that slowed them down.

It might not be clear in this pic but I saw @A_Higher_Place swallow a whole sausage and got away with it. Better to eat the whole thing than to just take a bite.

Combo #3:
Some action at SPA's chicane.

Newly promoted @racingchamp30 doing very well holding off @Worst_Driver and @Nicktune at the start of lap 3.

in C3R2, @Nicktune and @Worst_Driver had a racing incident and being the professionals that they are, they work together to get themselves back into the action.

That's how I interpreted last Sunday. Thanks for your patience.
See you at the Car-Show.

I guess everyone was busy yesterday. I'm extending the deadline to 6pm today.

Which car would you like to take to Spa?
I chose the Toyota Ts030 for spa, as you all know. I thought it would be good, but turned out to be unpopular. Even I had a hard time with it come race day! Perhaps a formula one car or red bull Jr car would have faired better. I'll get on in a little bit and help you expirement if you're still on.

Edit. I didn't run ts030 at spa I ran it at 24 heures le mans/circuit de la sarthe. Sorry for my confusion

The Red Bull JR worked really well at Spa when I tried it. I'll be on late afternoon. To start messing around.

Sorry, I have been sick earlier this week and forgot about it. I missed the window to make a pick I believe. It would have been the Evo 8 on Brands hatch GP.
Well, I reckon, since the BoD didn't hold the suggestion/vote process, if you were to flesh out that pick, we could go with that.

Due to extenuating circumstances, causing a lack of attention to our normal operating procedure, on all sides, those procedures are in abeyance this week.

With that said, here are our combos for this Sunday;

@Worst_Driver - LOL - I don't have a Copyright on the weekly Car-Show. You guys have been posting your cars prior to races long before I showed up. I just tried to make it more of Snail Weekly event.

I'm staying in Detroit this week for my Car-Show pic as it's the location of the Maritimes Sailors Cathedral, as told by Gordon Lightfoot.

On November 10th, 1975, the gales of November came early and sank the SS Edmund Fitzgerald in the cold waters of Lake Superior, while on route from Wisconsin to Detroit. Canadian folk signer Gordon Lightfoot wrote a great song about it called "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald". I'd like to think most Canadian Snails are familiar with it but I provide the YouTube link below for you to give it a listen.

See you Sunday.

Jeez I'm old. I remember listening to that song on AM radio the year my father died.

And so, as to not get maudlin, I'll stick with the Michigan theme and post up my cars for the show.

@Oshawa-Joe , yeah, my car looks better than that stock kudosprime image, which, I'm pretty sure, pulls it straight from the dealership image.

It's been said, more than once, over in the TT thread, orange has more prance.
