:bowdown:Litz!
I commend your choices! Stock to your guns! There are those of us, namely, only yourself and me, that thoroughly enjoy combos like this!

I have 50/25 through comcast. Currently only manage 35 15ish. But I think that is more an issue with my router, being an older wireless/wired router. I have a switch to play with. But I don't imagine it being better. Though, sometime this winter I plan on overhauling my computer and building a proper network.

I am planning to announce practice rooms as usual.... If we move practice to TH im ok with it but we should do that next week.

tom / dabney u hosting?

Sorry... Have not kept with thread.... Is anyone interested in practicing tonight? Semi formally?

i will be there, even if we do one room.

i am not a fan of Thursday nights, but whatever.

i think all of this would be avoided, from what i had mentioned months ago, if the winners are not finalized by whatever time, then the car picked has to be from the OCD so nobody has to break it in.

Cars don't have to broke in for Practice. It's nice but not required.

I can host, but we still need some picks. Who are we waiting on?

Countach in Eiger??? Naaaa!
No passing, patience running out, dive bomb, race complaint, bla, bla, bla. I voted it off already! That car deserved a track. Not a tiny road course. :(

I swear to god, the Countach sticks to the track at Eiger!

Im pretty sure that 100+mph jump, lock to lock 1st gear turns for 25% of the lap, and braking up hill into a off camber jump while turning with a MR car pretty much says no stick.

That being said, I like it alot better than Trial Mtn. Honestly I think its a better time trial combo, but its the pick, so lets rock it!

Schmmigz..., choose your prize buddy!

Nice racing Sunday!

BTW, I try to convince ONESPACE to give it another chance... but it seems that he has made his mind.

Guys, do not take offense on this, but the last 3 races in D3 were 'open lobby like'.. I think the OLR is pretty clear as to what is acceptable and not acceptable on track.

"And that John Doe dude dove in on me in the first MOON race and I for one don't apprieciate dive bombers at all. Sorry anyways, but you guys have fun cause I only joined for clean racing and I did not get that last night. So I won't be back"

From my own perspective, I always try to avoid any contact, but it is getting annoying that because I am respecting a little to much the guy in front I get raped Sunday to Sunday.

It's all you, Schmiggz! Please pick your Prize A. :)

Enjoy your moment of glory, Schmiggz (said with almost no palpable nor discernable trace of envy, no, not any)...

Good luck.

I have a "kitchen pass" for tonight. If Practice is moved at this date, I hope to know soon.

It is YOUR prize. You won it fair and square. Yes, there are combinations that are on the fringes of absurdity but for the most part something can be learned from every pick ever made. I *read* somewhere that the best stories are born from bad decisions. Sometimes a pick rates an "Awe Yea" and sometimes they draw a "Dammit". Either way, no matter the choice, there will always be the challenge to race hard and do it within the guidelines set forth in this great League. Win some or lose some. There is always something to be learned no matter where or what you are racing!

EDIT: Are you kidding me?? Top of the page?? It never comes easy when I need it!!

when you want it is when it's hard to catch!

I think we are good with opening 1 room tonight. I think Dabney is doing so. Even if it is just for fun I need a dose of GT5 tonight.

I just think of those moments where it is the question of...

"Those drivers just need to get better!" vs ""Who at the DMV thought THAT was a good idea for a road?"

That being said, I have thought I would loathe a combo in the past and found I liked it, or even really, really, really, liked it... Once I gave it a chance.

Don't mean to beat a dead horse and I'll apologize up front so as to not offend anyone by asking about practice night. Are we practicing tonight or tomorrow?

+1. It's nice to have some combos that are different even though most of the time they only last a week.Moral is don't be afraid to pick whatever car and track you want.

there are a few of us that will be holding 'semi formal practice'.
