Apparently it takes quite some time for servers to update. If someone had him the blocked list, but took him off before the event, it's still possible for PD servers not to let him in.
So the relevant question to ask is not "is XX on anyone's blocked list right now", but "did anyone have him on the blocked list at any point over the past few days". It still might be an unrelated glitch though.

Being the race director for D2, I want to put this issue to rest. Everybody was asked if GTP_Rberinhs was on anyones 'block list' and the answer was 'no'! I asked after the races, to the remainder of the people that stayed in the room, if anyone had him on their block list, whether at that time or any other time and they also said 'no'! I believe them.
GTP_Rberinghs had to have another issue.

Here's a great pic of the entire D2 field taking off for race 3!

I can't believe it was even suggested.

That's like waking up and instead of saying "I must have fallen asleep" (the most infinitely likely answer), you tell everyone you must have been abducted by aliens for an hour (the least likely answer).

Are there any snails that would be up for a dirty racing series. Just surveying

Oh, and I know you guys really don't like the ctr2 but be conscious that xr did pick it. Having everyone come down on you for a poor combo choice (which you like and thought is fun) really leaves the bad vibes. I would be lying if I said I didn't consider purposely picking a poor combo so I could win easily since so many people complain anyways, and I know some of you feel the same way

I'm down, pending on what day

However, there will now be a "Triple Crown" bonus point for anyone who wins pole position in all three rounds (1 point).
I was informed that the Triple Crown was if you won three races in a row, not if you got all three pole positions. If so, then if I remember correctly I got pole positions for all three races for the first 2 weeks of this month... just thought I would ask because I don't know if I was cut short on points...

It's always been for getting all three poles. I am pretty sure it is set up in the spreadsheet to be an automatic thing but KCheeb could elaborate further on that if he wishes.

During the first week with the sp1 I had gotten pole but we had forgotten to set the laps so we had to restart and I ended up starting second instead of first, but I had still gotten the original pole!

If the data is entered with anyone getting all three poles, a bonus point is awarded automagically. It shows up in the weekly scoring sheet in the points total column and carries forward from there.

Alrighty, thanks for clarifying both of you!

Congrats to EAO-HarleyMan for the 100 points!

Rafael, make sure you get into D3 asap so it becames the official Portuguese division with you, me, Oshawa Joe and XR11. We can also cheat to make nmcp, Faelforna and GTPDangerZone drop down a bit :)
7 Portuguese speaking in one division... woooooooot!!!

...ever since a recent update I can only hear the car directly in front of me. When we line up to qualify I can't hear my own car not even from the chase view! Anyone else notice this of am I taking crazy pills?

I think I know how to fix that. I had that problem until a few months ago, and it was completely baffling. Any time there was contact near me, or I hit a wall, or someone else was really close, my engine sound would be drowned out. I missed a lot of shifts thanks to that.

For me, the problem was something called sound compression. And there's an easy way to turn it off. I'm not in front of my PS3, but somewhere in the audio settings (options->hadware->audio, or something like that), there's an option to choose the size of the room you're playing in. If you change it to the middle setting (small theater, I think?), it will lessen the problem a lot, but you'll still have it sometimes. If you set it to the bottom one (large theater), it will completely fix the problem, BUT make sure you turn your volume down a little first if you normally play at a loud volume. The menu music will actually be a lot quieter, so don't let that fool you into thinking that the game sounds will be quieter too. This is the only problem I've noticed. You may want to re-configure your audio mix afterward if you want to hear any music.

I was thinking about this idea after last nights races and thought I'd pass it on to everyone else for discussion.

There has been a number of times where I've heard people say that they enjoyed all three combos or one combo would have been great if it was with a different car or track. This got me thinking. Why don't we allow the prize A winner to have the options of either changing the car or track of the combo that received the most votes or scrap the entire combo and choose a new one (pretty much a combination of prize A and prize B)? With this new prize, there would be a chance of keeping a car/track that the majority liked while getting rid of the part we didn't like. It may not happen often but there have been several times where I've thought it was really unfortunate that a car or track would be dropped completely after one week (like the Ruf this week). It would also give the person with the most points a great reward to be able to keep a car/track they had success with. At the same time, others will practice with it for another week and it may make things interesting the next time. It would also give us more possible combos to try out.

Prize B would remain what it is as well as prize c.

So what do you guys think? Would this be something we could look into?

I think that's technically how it is right now (Zer0?). The prize A winner can choose any car/track combination they please. I guess that theoretically, they could decide to keep both of the pieces of the combo and change nothing. It would be weird, and no one has done it in my time in SNAIL. I think most SNAILS would rather pick a complete combo with prize A, since many of us have never even had the opportunity, and might never again. But I can see how a situation might arise where it makes sense to keep one half of it as long as the new half fundamentally changed the experience. It wouldn't be something to do lightly though, because one could really annoy a lot of people by keeping parts of the combo everyone just voted out.

That would be awesome! Except for the part about moving down in divisions ;)

How about we all meet half way in D2 :sly:

Forca Portugal!

Haha i'll try my best, but it seems that it'll take a wile. I'm slowly (very slowly) getting better tough, so that's a plus.
