Oh also be sure to get your racing gear in V1.0 as well when you are done there is a few extra in V1.01


Racing Gear, you purchase the style and get all 34 colors.
 
I'm surprised this glitch still exists! Raking in the dough! The Karma Faerie just bit PD in the ARSE for that micro transaction bs!

BTW. don't go pressing karma, otherwise you will forget to hop into a different car after accidently getting into the vgt, and have to reinstall the update to get into a different car...:banghead:

Beware of the Stockyard guys, it seems alot of people are having their cars disappear when they put it in there. A fix is being worked on.

20 Merc's was more then enough for me, got all the cars i want and about 13 69' GT40's to sell at 6m each. I even full upgraded some of the ones i looking forward to using so that cash isnt eaten up aswell.
 
I'm on that tip too IR. Dont care about getting all the crazy expensive cars, just want the ones I want, and my cash cows for later when I need to keep up with the snail collection.

If you happen to jump in one. Power down via button in PS. The game won't save. Look at file it will show you in what you was prior to the mistake. Load GT6 and start we're you left off.

I do no think there is anything they can do about it. The glitch exists on the disk:) it is not like they can take that away from us. I assume on a downloaded version they can fix it.
 
what they can do is adjust the version 1.01 patch so that it changes the metadata for the Merc VGT, so that when you buy one now with the newest patch, then drop back to pre patch and try to sell it vianthe glitch, the game won't recognize the Merc.

perhaps. Regardless I have my 500,000,000 worth of cars 19 mill in the bank and three spare "Investment" Cars. All in all a whole lot better than all the grinding in GT5.

That being said. I which it was not necessary to do this. If the pay outs looked at all like they would allow you to buy all the cars in a reasonable amount of time while progressing thourgh the game this would not have been so appealing. I mean how hard would it have been to give us a prize car for each series won. That would be nearly 200 cars. Instead we get like 30 Cars. Or they could make buying credits cheaper. Say 10 mi. for a $1. That would still require you to spend $100 to buy everything but that is a whole lot more realistic than the $1000s they are wanting.

can someone tell me what's with the Stars? are we in Kinder Garden? are we suppose to stick them in your forehead too? .. that is retarded...

Anyway, put in 2 hours in having fun and I love the X Box and the Ferrari Dino.. sweet cars!
 
Those stars essentially replaced the XP system and are what you earn for completing events and gauge when some reward cars are gifted and when other events are unlocked. Check here to see which cars are rewarded for various progression levels. It's the list of cars not to buy if you plan on completing the single player aspect of the game.

Yes.

Revert the Game data to version 1.00 by deleting the 1.01 update file.
a. From the XMB, Game Menu, select Game Data Utility
b. Delete the GT6 file. Your game data is now version 1.00

Disable Internet on the PS3
a. XMB>>Settings>>Network Settings>>Internet Connection = Disabled
