the only options on that post are like or reply no edit like on all the other posts. So if you're expecting me to remove it using that button I CAN"T! But i can edit the post you put up. Something is not right. I may not know computers but I do know that this isn't right. So would you like to give advise? I'm trying to get it off of there. I got it off the other one didn't I. Any ideas guys?

Go to your post #56956 and use the edit button there.
Thank you bro I think that did it. When i clicked on the link you sent the EDIT button was there. I really appreciate your help. Now if I just knew where to send the actual tt info. It said to watch this thread but there isn't one there. sort of like the EDIT button for just the one post and not the other. Don't suppose you could help me with that? My gf has to use the computer for school work now but if you sent me a msg on psn for MM-leadfoot I'd be forever grateful. Thanks for your help this far. I just wanna race and doubt there's many people that would go through what I have to join. Sorry again guys.

@Ryan F,
Thanks for your interest!
We would love to have you in the league. If you hurry you'll be able to race tomorrow.
Here's what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. The Race Director or Primary Host from the corresponding SNAIL Division will send you a PSN friend request. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.

@leadfootedbud

Please follow the instructions above and submit your time before midnight.

Racing fans share a universal language that cuts across many cultures and many personality types. A serious racing fan is never alone. We are legion, and racing is often the only thing we have in common.

Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.

There have been many discussions over the past year about how to divide the thread into more palatable sections. The creation of a dedicated S.N.A.I.L. website has also been discussed. As our membership grows, these ideas seem to have even more merit.

Not too long ago, I wrote about this. There have been many great ideas on how to manage a thread that is sneaking up on 60,000 posts. I have even had an idea or two on the subject. With the sheer number of daily posts and our ever expanding population, we could easily support just about any format imaginable.

I have turned the corner and think differently now. I used to subscribe to the neat and tidy notion of web sites, separate sections for racing, off topic banter and all other things that pop up daily in our thread. I have looked a little harder at the big picture and truly enjoy the messiness of such a large thread. Short posts, long posts, on topic or off. We post pictures of our cars and how we did over the weekend. We post stories of our lives and what interests us. We also talk quite a bit about racing theory and myths. Sometimes we even argue a little bit.

It makes sense to break it all up into nice columns and rows (and you all know I like that stuff!) but it would be a mistake. Our wild and wooly thread is part of what makes us what we are. Our thread is one of the things that separates us from the rest of the world. Love it or hate it, we are more than just a bunch of motorheads that like to race. Our messy little thread is what shows our character and personality. We ARE a famileague. We are S.N.A.I.L.

To go along with all of that, I really do have to say a little something about the new generation of SNAILs. You all really embody the true spirit of SNAIL. As some of us older guys fade from the weekly routine of keeping our League running and spend more time racing, you all have grabbed the torch with excitement and new energy that will keep us going for a very long time.

I can't thank this entire crew, new and old, for all of the enjoyment this League has brought me over the years. I just keeps getting better and better. I must get going now as I have a championship fight to think about! See you all on the grid!

I took the test and completed the time trial Friday night. I should receive a message with my division placing sometime tonight or tomorrow before the races correct?

I see a time has been submitted, so yes, probably tomorrow morning you will get the msg. Get the cars and join one of the snailracing.org online rooms for some practice tonight if you like.

Could you link me to where it says what cars I need? This huge thread is confusing :dunce:

1st page 2nd post.

Also guys I won't be racing this Sunday in D2 I have to work the night shift, but I'll be all good to go next week! I hope the yota stays as well as the BRZ!

PLEASE LET ME JOIN snail. on laguna seca It only took me five laps in the FR-S courtesy car. this is the only other "thread i can find that i can post anything on. Please let me join. All my friends are already here and I've been trying for months to get in. JLBowler, please man...let me race with my friends. I'm good, clean as possible and fast. I've been playing GT since it first came out. I dont see a thread on the snail page and believe me I"VE TRIED every link there. I'm begging you bro...let me join, put me on the list.

Begging is not going to get the job done. I don't mean to offend here but you have to follow the instructions to join just the same as any of the other 400+ people that have come through SNAIL over the years. Oshawa-Joe even spoon fed you the instructions for the time trial by copy/pasting one of Skills' welcome posts.

It's all there in front of you and the ball is in your court. You just have to follow through and finish up.

The deadline for new members to submit a time trial and race this week has passed. All drivers who submitted a time trial have received their divisional placement via PM on GTPlanet.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow night in the last night of the April season.

@Oshawa-Joe will be updating the driver's list sometime soon. The part time priority list will be posted in the thread prior to the start of Sunday night's races.

To anyone thinking of joining SNAIL and feeling like you have to race in the normal divisions to race with the best of the best. Well right now two west coasters are in the top 250 globally of gt academy round 1.

Congrats to @gmraces and @Neovre keep it up till the final round. I want to see you two fight it out on tv!

OK so the real reason for my absence this week on the thread, in practice and in GT Academy is because I am sick the entire week lol... Just don't feel like doing any driving at all because of the mental taxation (So I was pretty stoked when I went under 1:03.4). I only had a couple of laps in the Subaru and haven't even turned a wheel on the new Toyota combo. Anyhow, thank you @jobyone for the continuous support and high expectations of me as well as @gmraces painting a target on my back reminding me I have to keep going faster.

@VrapPlus I have no idea where you found the pace since you started a few weeks back, didn't really paid much attention until the last 2-3 weeks you have been showing up in practice rooms very near the top spots in practice qualis and races. I'm glad I have had such a positive influence on you. Perhaps we'll go head to head again in the RoCs, really looking forward to that.

Hopefully I will feel better and start grinding on GT Academy again soon and AS ALWAYS looking forward to tomorrow night's battle.

P.S. @dgaf95integra it's too much pain to see your new times on the thread every now and then. I will try and crunch them down in one go. Cheers

I doubt I'll be racing tomorrow. Minds too clouded and doubt I'll be clear for even semi-serious racing by tomorrow night. Good luck to all division racers.
