I can make the banners flip even slower if needed

EDIT.. I agree with Dragon.... don't think we need the gif. The banners look good by themselves.

Cosign, animated banners might be a a bit over the top but maybe we can add those stats to the pics like small "bars" ... it would have to be the same lenght as the banners in order for it to look good i guess

Haha thanks! I love photography, so that stuff is fun in game for me! Wish the game had more camera settings to adjust though.

Here's another thing to think about with animated gifs. It's been my experience with the gif thread, the more gifs there are on a single page the longer the page takes to load. On my phone I stay away from that gif thread completely. Not like it's a completely crappy phone either. Samsung S4.

The talent level in this league continues to astound me.

I have an S3, and find the same thing happens, even on wifi. Multiple gif loads ate sluggish. Hoping i can make it this weekend, combos are great!

The spreadsheet from @Rednose58 provides excellent information in one place to determine Qually and Laps. It was not his intention to replace the banners. I think it's good practice to have his spreadsheet up on Thursday night so we can see what the average times are.
When @GamingPete banners are ready on a Friday they can go up for the weekend.

Agree. Let's not downgrade the banners by adding something that looks nice, but has another purpose. I'll try and have the table out before thursday nights so the rooms can be set up. Those banners from @GamingPete is way too awsome.
 
It desperately needs a flash! Some tracks, they are way to dark. Flash would allow you to do some amazing night photography.

Wouls be great to have, but a flash would be so tough for them to implement though :(

I wish we could shoot slower shutter speeds than 1/60 second. Long exposure shots at night would be fun, and a good way to get more light in night shots.

Also wish we could shoot interiors better too, and move the camera higher up in the air in replays. I know its because of the limitations in whats been modeled for the environments, but I want more!
 
What? Did Nissan finally let you guys out of your cages? That's at least two Silverstone finalists heading back in, sort of.

November 7th is the 1st GT Academy show on Spike TV. So 4 more weeks to wait for that.

More specific details since it was brought up.

November 7th at 11:30 PM ET. It will run for 6 weeks and skip over November 28th. The first 5 episodes are 30 minutes and the finale will be an hour, which is the same format as last year.
 
Anybody know a way to make GT6 not drop frames constantly, or at least do it less horribly? Like, are there any settings I don't know about that affect it?
 
I went poking around in the PS3 settings and also turned off smoothing and some other things too, hopefully it helps :)

I dont have much issues with gt6 framerate
But gta5 online was really bad framerate wise on my 55inch tv ... turning on gamemode on my samsung made it really smooth altho it lost a bit of "color" but the tradeoff was worth it
