When voting, please make a dedicated post for your vote and use either the number you are voting for or the full name of the combo. You do not need to quote this post when casting your vote.

Please do not vote if you didn't race on Sunday night.

Please do not vote if you raced in D6 Sunday night. Your suggestion was your vote. If you didn't make a suggestion, you missed your chance to contribute to Prize A.

Please do not post a running total of the votes in the thread. If someone wants to know the totals before they cast their vote, let them do the leg work. We want people to vote for what they want to race, not a front runner or an attempt to have a combo catch up. I will be quoting this post throughout the day on Thursday to remind people of what is going on.

This is not a complaint but merely a question. Did you consider and test the 4.2 version? It is a much better handling car overall than it's big brother.

No, I did not think about that, but we can make it the 4.2 version. That would be fine with me.

Just want to say this. guys please let the people in charge take care of what needs to be tracked, there are plenty of other ways you can help SNAIL. im not bitching im just trying to keep everyone from being confused.

ok, back to your regularly scheduled posting.

Whoever told me to change gears earlier in the R390 - thanks! I've went on to read about optimal gear changes and I have to say, I did not know much about it. I was always a 'just before the limiter' guy, never gave it a thought that changing gears earlier would help. Knocked about .8 off my best during that session, and I feel I can knock a little more off before Sunday. Already proving to be beneficial! Nice one. 👍

Also, need to keep a closer eye on what lap i'm on...losing 3 places on the last corner of the last lap was a sore one! :boggled: Should've taken it easy into that last bend. Good fun though guys, looking forward to race day!

Have a quick look at the torque curve in the car settings on that car. You'll see on the high end, the power drops off quite a bit. Someone that knows tuning more than me might be able to help more, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but the guideline I go by is if I'm shifting at 6k rpm, I want to see what revs I am at in that next gear. If the torque value is higher at that new rpm than it is at 6k rpm, it's save to say that's a good shift point. This will obviously vary with each gear though, because the gap in gear ratios will be different. An extreme example in game is the 15th Anny Ford Focus. Go through the gears in that and see what happens when you shift into 5th. When you shift at redline from 4th to 5th, the revs drop way down to about 3k rpm, where in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, you're much higher.

Quick tip for this weekends races: have a look at the torque curve on the Subaru too :P

Here's what are day consisted of at the la auto show and being treated like roality :P

I just did a room test for the club events. Once the room is opened you cannot change any settings for the event. I will have more testing done tomorrow along having multiple rooms and if you need to be signed up for an event before it starts.

@DesertPenguin09 @Handlebar

I've been watching the thread and going post by post. He went back and edited a post with his selection. I might have found it in the end but I might not have.

Please, do not edit your post with your selection in it. I am recording and numbering them as they are posted so I don't have to go hunting for them later.

The only part I edited was thanking XRad and John-Rambo - PSN isn't same as GTP ID, so I had to use Drivers List when I was done. I did forget to throw your GTP in, my apologies.
