Hey guys it's small font, also known as gtr3123, I just experienced a death in the family, my dads brother. It is why I have been away for a couple days, I'm in New York City right now, where I used to live, I should be returning back to Virginia tonight. At least Raymond my dads brother isn't suffering anymore, he had stage 4 lung cancer, so his liver and kidneys both shut down and I saw him die right before my eyes, but at least it was peaceful and he didn't suffer and that's what the family wanted. I hope to be back racing soon and I'll be as strong as ever, talk to you guys soon ErickFrank Santiago Aka gtr3123
P.S hope everyone is doing well :gtpflag:
you know with the way that started I thought it was going to turn into who near by wants to go karting! Sorry for your loss.

I already have an AMG GT3. I've had it for a while now but I don't remember what I did to it; like if I improved the rigidity of the chassis. Do I have to buy another one?

This was a prize car for a seasonal a while back, and it came with quite a few installed parts.
Improved Body rigidity will not stop you from entering, but any "custom" part additions you may have made will. Start by going through the setup menus and selecting "set to default" on all of them, this is especially important for the suspension, transmission and downforce because if you ever adjusted any of them, they will keep you out of the room.

If no snail room is open, try to join the Time Trial Event and you can see if it lets you participate. It uses the same rules.

I remember that combo being very processional so I thought 13 passes was very high. According to the data, you started 2nd in the first race and finished in the same position you started (as did 6 of the 11 starters) and in the second race you moved from 10th to 5th. Perhaps you are counting passes and repasses but, either way, while I full appreciate that your opinion of what makes a good combo is as valid as anyone's the fact the combo in question was a "one and done" with 47 of the 75 votes cast going against it would point to it being particularly unpopular.

Having said that, it's clearly not a popularity contest and prize winners have every right to pick what they want and that's what makes SNAIL such an interesting league.

A poor turn one backed me up in the field and I had to work my way back to where I started. While it may not have been popular, it did provide some of the closest racing I've been a part of in SNAIL and it was different from using the same tracks over and over again.

A fair achievement indeed.

Close and different for sure and, as I said, it's not a popularity contest.

Have a safe drive, if you need a rest stop near Philly let me know :)

Tuesday night I discovered my GTEYE spring had broken. I thought I needed to clean the pots because I've had erratic braking lately. There was also intermittently a little slop in the pedal that I thought was just wear. After contacting GTEYE they are sending me a free replacement with apologies. They said breakage is rare, but sometimes a result of a defect in the material from their supplier. Great customer service!

@gtr3123 , sorry for your loss.

The guy behind GTEYE is top notch. Very cool he was willing to replace the product. In a product like this, with what amounts to a relatively thin metal, a defect such as internal oxidization just can't be caught. Nice to see him not try to blame the customer.

Random fact: The X-Bow Street is not as tough to handle as previously though. And it's on Sport Softs which might be different from when it was used last (which was before the tire regulation change).

I can report that this week in SNAIL has run rather smoothly. The steward summary will be going out late tonight and I expect to have promotion and relegation completed tomorrow.

Enjoy practice tonight. I will be umpiring the last set of championship games for the late summer / fall season of slow pitch softball.

Hate to cut in on y'alls conversation but I've been reading and lurking the SNAIL forums for a good while and just love how y'all do things.

I am finally deciding that I want to take part in it and join in the racing with you all.

@Manasseh257NSX

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Who should I bet on for F1 qualifying and the race this week? The safe bet on Hamilton? Take a risk with Rosberg or go for the huge payout on Vettel?
