It's great to have fast drivers in SNAIL but, at the risk of sounding like a grouch, it does seem a bit unfair that people can be placed in divisions that they are clearly too fast for. 17 wins in D6 last season along with 4 wins, 3 poles and all 6 fastest laps (which are mid D2 speed) in his first night in D4 would seem to indicate that the original TT time submitted didn't reflect his real speed.

I'm not by any means having a go at the person who made the placement.

Hes missed a bunch of races up till recently with life as a young man. Usually only racing a couple of races on a Sunday. He also has greatly improved since he first started and took that TT and I mean leaps and bounds since I started racing with him

I can literally walk to this Company from my place. If you are not familiar with their products, give them a look and make sure you have a napkin near by to catch your drool. Does he plan to race the Daytona?

A buddy and I often drool checking out their website.

The Daytona Coupe is my cousins second Factory Five build. He built a Cobra first and sold that along with the RX-350 to fund the Daytona Coupe build. He did the One Lap of America twice with the Daytona Coupe and has done several track days and a few autocrosses. My brother is in the process of building a Cobra from FF as well. We went there two years ago yesterday to pick up the pieces. It's been slow going for him since we've been putting a lot of time into the Volvo ChumpCar at the same time. I think he'll be able to get it on the road this summer.

You can see my cousins cars and a brief description on his website, 25tires.com.

Time: Please Arrive by 10PM EST
Event: Low Boost Mini Endurance

Rules:
Although we're a beginner-friendly league, we expect all drivers to follow GTP OLR Rules and pursue good racecraft at all times. If you're not sure what racecraft is, watch this video for an explanation. It can be summed up in one simple 'Golden Rule' of motorsports: It is the responsibility of the overtaking driver, meaning the car that is attempting to execute the pass, to make sure that the pass is made cleanly and incident free. If you don't agree with this rule or don't think it applies to you, then this is not the league for you.

Diabolic Settings:
All league settings are default unless noted below:
Boost: LOW
Penalty: OFF
Visible Damage: Off
Mechanical Damage: HEAVY
Slipstream Strength: Weak
Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption: On
Grip Reduction: Real
Tire Restrictions: FLUCTUATING
Vehicle Tuning: Prohibited
Driving Aids: Only ABS allowed

Original Post dated 12/13/11: You know I'm down! Again, can't make it this week being I'm out of town, but the next time after. Hopefully the supra makes it through the voting. If I win again and its gone, I'm bringing it back! :gtpflag:
Sorry for the random, but while looking for a link I just happened to notice that all of the pic links are broken on this post below the OP, except the hat cakes!!!! Awesome!

Heh - he's fine right where he is : )

I love racing this kid in practice. I put my fastest laps down just trying to keep up.:banghead: Biggest difference I see in @Matthew Barry is his improved consistency. He's always been able to put down a fast lap but now a days he doesn't make the big mistake that takes him out of the race. Great Job mb !!

Don't worry @turnupdaheat , you'll get your shot at him eventually. He actually may be part alien...

Steward Update

The stewards have completed enough reviews to make the prize winners official. They are as follows:

Prize A @Matthew Barry - already chosen
Prize B @Ricky Wilson - He has not responded so this prize will be chosen by suggestions from D1 and a vote by all who raced on Sunday once the prize C winner has made their pick.
Prize C @singlepaddy - On the clock to freeze the car or track.

Suggestion:
Next stop on The Rocket Tour - Rome or Grand Valley East.
Just a thought.

Can't, it hits rev limiter on those tracks. :( This is a list of all tracks that it doesn't do that:

-Brands Hatch - All variations
-Tsukuba
-Laguna Seca
-Monaco
-Autumn Ring - All variations
-Cape Ring North
-Trial Mountain - Forward & Reverse

If you raced in D1 this Sunday you get to make one suggestion for a track to go with the Rocket. I'm on my phone so I can't tag effectively. You have until 11 PM ET tonight to make suggestions. Only make one suggestion and you must post it in the main thread.

Prize B choice : Tsukuba
