I agree with the comments here about the cost efficiency of giving contracts to these winners of gt academy. I've been thinking that moving forward they would do what some other video games have done in recent years and that's host tournaments with prize pools. I don't know the game really but a game called DOTA hosts a yearly tournament and the winning team takes home 1million dollars. I could see with GTSPORT them do something similar. Country/ regional championships, manufacturer's championships , world championships, ect. all with $$ prizes for winners.

Voting for WRC S9R2 combos has concluded. The Formula Renault 3.5 has been replaced by the Mclaren P1. The Mclaren will see its first race at the Imola Circuit this upcoming Tuesday evening. S9R2 will feature both day/night transitions and full night races. This week's events should be a fine spectacle for photography.

@gtr3123 again showed us all how to get it done in the first round of Season 9. With 2 poles and winning all four races, he is surely a threat to sweep season 9. Does @irmopars have anything for him? How quickly will @Ph1sher latch onto PCARS physics? With the two top steps nearly a sure thing, who will take the bronze his week? @SGETI ? @austindeckerGT5 ? Do Lessen and @Alex ONeill have what it takes to grab any podiums this season? S9R1 showcased a full lobby of 16 drivers to start; another SNAIL WRC attendence record. The compeition is getting thicker. Who will rise to the occasion?

Note to Self and other interested parties:

1) At the Mazda Leguna track - If all 4 tires/wheels of your car are inside the White line at the apex of any corner, you are Out of Bounds. And worthy of any/all penalties issued as the result of an IR.

Remember - We self-police our events with IRs to encourage and maintain our Clean Driving League.
If you, or I, get an IR - it is just a reminder to Try Harder to do it correctly. It is not a challenge to your Man-hood.

2) Cap Ring North will be dominated by "The Luck of The Jump". Don't get all upset if someone else's Bad Luck spoils your position. It is just Racin'.

That's not quite completely correct. Rumble strips are considered part of the track and two tires inside the white line but on the rumble strips would be considered legal.

Taken from the track boundaries post in the SNAIL OLR, P&G thread.

The white line at the track edge is the track boundary unless there is a red/white striped rumble strip present or the section of track is listed here as an exception to this rule.

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca - Blue/White strips are to be treated as red/white. In addition, the concrete area at the beginning and end of the blue/white strips will be treated the same as a rumble strip. The textured concrete areas at some corner exits will be treated as rumble strips as well.

Also remember this section of the OLR as it is very relevant at Laguna Seca.

15: Track Boundaries:

A:
Colliding with or using walls, fences, cones, brake markers or any other obstacle that is outside the track surface is forbidden, whether time is gained or not and whether you have two tires on the track surface or not.

This seems to be more and more common at Laguna. It seems that a few folks out there go out of their way to remove certain cones that other's use as break markers.... specially before the corkscrew.

.... just sayin'

There may have been a few cones at Nurburg 24h track that I may or may not have had a penchant for hitting for the hell of it...

Thank you, Sir.
I should have reviewed the OLR before waxing eloquent. Appreciate your attention to detail.
